“The home was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in the Black Hills area. Close to multiple shops and restaurants. Super private and we really enjoyed hanging around the fire pit out back in the evenings. Will recommend to friends/family staying in the area and will be back! Thank you for the amazing week!”

We were perfectly comfortable for 9 nights here, and we were able to enjoy many places of interest by using it as our home base. As the crow flies it is very close to lots, but note that driving to places takes much time on the winding, indirect routes. “We chose this location because it was outside of Rapid City, away from the traffic and noise. This is a pretty ranch property about 15-20 miles from town so, you’re out in the countryside which we wanted. There’s one horse on the property and he enjoys your attention. Some mornings we woke up to deer exploring around the corral or wild turkeys walking past the front door. And the stars at night! Wow! Also garage parking for our car. Only one shower/bathtub. “The home was extremely clean. The property is private yet relatively close to attractions like Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. We enjoyed our stay at the home and the kids loved seeing deer and turkey at the outside feeder each morning. If we visit South Dakota again, we would certainly book this property again.”

“If you want a quiet place to relax and unwind this place is perfect. Every night we got to watch deer play in the field below us, listen to the elk. The only disappointment was having to leave. Will definitely be back.”

“Great place to stay to see all areas of the Black Hills! Super clean! Very comfortable and very spacious. Central location and easy drive to everything. We spent the weekend and where able to visit Crazy horse, jewel cave, Mount Rushmore and Rapid city with a stop in Hill top too. We also enjoyed the local restaurants in Custer! Quiet, thoughtful and comfortable home for the weekend!”

He allowed us to stay Fri & Sat and out Sun as they didn’t have a guest coming until Sun night. Thanks again Wade! We loved the view and it was so quiet and nice for my husband and I for our anniversary/weekend getaway. The bed was a little hard for us and when we got there a water glass with water was in the cup holder on the recliner. The bedroom needed……

“We had a great vacation. The house was supplied with everything needed and then some to make the stay comfortable and convenient. Great communication with the house and very quick prompt responses to questions during our stay. The house is very cozy, beds comfortable and supplied everything you would need in your own home. “We had a wonderful stay. The Bear Necessities was a prefect location for a SD trip. Property description was exactly as described. Kids enjoyed having there own rooms and Wii to play. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sibley Tent #2. Quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view, comfortable bed, propane fire pit and spa tub. It was going to be a bit chilly at night and the owner provided a heater for our tent and an electric blanket. I would definitely recommend this place and we hope to go back again next year!”
