Outstanding! Just what we wanted!
The neighborhood is beautiful. Tucked under the main house is a retreat with a place to sit, watch golfers and see the sunset. Inside s a large bathroom, a kitchenette with nice supplies, two rocker/recliners, pub-style table for two, a nice sized television with streaming and, adjacent, a comfortable and nicely appointed king bed with luxurious sheets and 4 pillows. Truly a quiet respite. The chilled water and snacks were a welcome treat. We were in town for a family wedding and a place of our own was quite enjoyable.

The property is quite spacious, and the amenities were excellent. Quiet area with plenty of birds to watch as one enjoys their coffee outdoors. Well thought out for a visitor to the area. Owners very nice and friendly. More than willing to help you get around and sites to see.

Stopped at Hot Springs Village for a couple nights. Apartment was very well outfitted. Dined out both nights, once at the Sunset Grill, and then at Dolce Vita highly recommend them. The apartment is very comfortable for a couple. Would definitely stay there again.

Hot Springs hideaway
The house itself was beautiful. The walk to get to said house, not desirable if you have bad knees. If we'd know it was a downhill treck to get to the door and an uphill hike to get back to the truck, we probaby would have passed on this one because by hubby does have bad knees. So we tried not to leave the house ( which is a basement at the back of the house on a lovely golf course) because it was so painful for him. I think this needs to be in the description. The house itself was quite lovely and we had a great 2 weeks there despite the hill to get to the entrance.

Blessings in disguise
We had our anniversary trip planned and another VRBO (our first stop) canceled on us the morning before we were to leave. I was so stressed out and spent 3+ hours trying to find another place. Then THIS one came up. I messaged the owner and explained the situation and she was so sweet and accommodating. Let me just say that this place did not disappoint. It’s in a VERY nice area, IT is very clean, safe and absolutely beautiful. The pictures of the outside do not do it justice. This owner and this property were a blessing in disguise. Perfect way to start our two week journey celebrating our birthdays and anniversary.
