"This was a perfect cabin for our weekend family getaway. My kids loves the bunk beds and the fact they had their own room. Beds were comfortable and the grey blankets were super soft and cozy to snuggle up in! The cabin is in a great location and was super easy to find. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we had a wonderful view of the lake from the front windows. Ken and Angelina were fantastic hosts and so easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!"

"My husband and I spent my 60th birthday here. It was perfect! The cottage is exactly as described and pictured. The owners were very quick to respond with any questions we had. It was a very comfortable place to stay and enjoy the beautiful Houghton Lake. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and had an absolute blast! We will definitely be coming back!"

"We loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay. The wood burning stove kept the cabin warm despite it being the middle of February. The property is beautiful with the river steps away. We're already planning on going back later this year and taking advantage of the canoes."

Plenty of room for our group of 8 and nice mounted tv to watch golf after playing a round or two. "The reason for our stay was to get out of the heat in Florida! We used to have a place at Higgins Lake until 3 years ago. We always enjoyed it here. It's a different pace of life compared to downstate and Florida. More relaxing. We miss that. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. They made sure it was equipped with everything you would need. Very clean and neat. It definitely gives you that "Up North" feel."
