「The room was good for price with breakfast, comfortable, and clean, the toilet was big. The location was near the beach, but a bit far from the train station. Moreover, the hotel has no lift, so that we must carry the big luggage to the third floor with the thin staircase. No wife in the room, you must come down from the third floor to the lobby for the Internet.」

「Was a surprisingly pleasant stay at this hotel, i was worried after reading some of the reviews but it was actually a nice hotel, the bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean and smelled fresh, some areas of cleaning had been missed but it wasn't a problem for us. The decor was so interesting and was nice to stay in a hotel with a bit of personality. 」

They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. The staff were friendly and gave us a warm welcome, and also gave a great brunch recommendation. 「We enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Brighton. The service was impeccable. It elevated the whole experience at the hotel despite some hits and misses. Every staff was professional and friendly (even their uniform was tastefully designed). The lobby and lounge were beautiful, giving us a really good impression of the hotel.
