「What an absolute gem of a property! I come to Hove for business and have always stayed quite some distance away (Hayward Heath) due to the lack of secure parking at most properties in the area. So to find this fabulous property so close to my customer’s site was fantastic. Off street parking on the drive of the property means no hunting for a parking space. 「The room was very spacious with all amenities needed available in the room. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The entire property was very well decorated and the stay was really quiet. The property is also very close to the train station and local pubs and takeaway. We will be staying again」

「The room was good for price with breakfast, comfortable, and clean, the toilet was big. The location was near the beach, but a bit far from the train station. Moreover, the hotel has no lift, so that we must carry the big luggage to the third floor with the thin staircase. No wife in the room, you must come down from the third floor to the lobby for the Internet.」

「Very run down with no signs of trying to fix anything. Friendly enough staff, but clueless. I had to move rooms after the first night. The radiator in room 218 couldn't be turned off and it was 25 degrees. The ceiling in the bathroom has water damage from above and the plaster was cracked and falling down. The second room I was given, room 317, had more problems. The window had broken seals, so let in a lot of wind and noise from the street. I found 2 empty Absolut vodka bottles wedged...

「The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!」

「I appreciate is a 2 stars hotel but the sink was dripping, the shower wasn’t properly tight the remote control was covered in a weird sticky substance and the room actually stinks Just list it the way it is. 」
