「This was our family's second time at Sunset Cottage. The lake is a "no wake" lake, in a quiet neighborhood, so it was very peaceful. 「Nice relaxing property on a beautiful quiet lake.」

「Great place, listing was accurate. We stayed with 6 friends for relaxing and fun weekend. Plenty of room in living room and big table for gathering around to play games. House was very clean. Weather was very hot, but A/C worked well. Nice big tree provided shade outside. Good view of lake. Pellet grill onsite that works great. Beds were all comfortable. King bed and upstairs floors were 'squeaky' Quick responce from host. We would stay again.」

「There's a pretty view of the lake from the back of the cabin. The inside of the cabin is nicely setup and clean. The outside needs a little work. That does not keep us from giving a 5 start review. There's a lovely little dock with chairs setup by the lake. There is lots of shops and things to do and see in the surrounding area. The people in the community are friendly and welcoming. The hot tub was nice for cooler evenings. We can't wait to come back. 」

「We spent the weekend at this cottage and were able to host a graduation celebration for approximately 25. There was good space for accommodating a BBQ. Steve was very responsive and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with needed items. Beautiful view of the lake! 」

「It was pleasant. Very quiet and wonderful view of the lake. Excellent fishing. I had a few things that required online access to complete, so I selected a locations that listed wifi. Unfortunately the wifi was extremely slow so U had a hard time sending email. That said if you want a remote spot where you feel left alone to fish, this is great. Most people do not rent a lake cabin for the internet access though...」

This is a rural area, so you have to drive to get to the towns in the area but all within 15 minutes. The 2nd bathroom shower is small, but clean and nice. The cottage has AC units in each room, but we liked having separate temperatures for each area. We would definitely stay again!」

「The cottage provided us everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out and the owner was very responsive to requests. I have not had a gas stove since I was a kid living at home and I found that cooking on it was like riding a bike. It gave me a bit of nostalgia as well.The location was great for us. Close to town, and to our own cottage that is currently gutted. Also easy drive into the Lake James/Jimmerson area - which of course you need to arrive to Tom's Donuts early if you don't...
