"Home Away from Home truly was a great experience. The grounds are gorgeous and such a beautiful place to visit and experience. The staff, Elvis, Grace, and especially Felix were tremendously helpful and friendly. They took care of absolutely everything and truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience. It feels less like a hotel stay and more like meeting a nice little family that welcomes you in to their beautiful mountain lodge wonderland. Definitely recommend. 11 out of 10! :)"

"Overall, the staff was great. Although the Wi-Fi would not always work, which was hard relying on VPN plus beds could be kind of uncomfortable. The location was great for Tianmen Mountain. Very quiet hotel with great restaurant and convenient store nearby."

"It was a lovely stay at a local residence just by the river and main bridge. The decor was very tasteful. We loved walking along both sides of the river and exploring. No English was spoken but my daughter speaks Chinese so this wasn’t an issue. Local breakfast of noodles and egg. It was charming."

"We had the most wonderful experience, Andy (the manager) was in direct contact with us even before the trip and he arranged for our pick up even when we changed the departure point at the last minute. He made our honeymoon absolutely lovely and special at this hotel! The room was absolutely wonderful, large, with amazing views. The facilities are breathtaking, swimming pool was great. The best part was just walking through the hotel and feeling like being in a palace everyday. The area for the breakfast buffet was stunning and the staff were always beyond amazing ☺️ I highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the area, great experience overall!"

"The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide selection of both American and Chinese dishes. The location is fantastic—directly across the street from Tianmen Mountain, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel also provides a complimentary 24-hour self-service laundry, which was a great bonus. Overall, it was a five-star stay, and I would highly recommend it."

"The location is great and the staff are outstanding. We were met upon arrival by a complimentary pickup from the airport ( or train station) and greeted at the door by Peter the friendly hotel dog. John is the English speaking staff who can help non Chinese speakers and he was beyond wonderful. Thank you so so much for all your help. There’s a wide range of food for the buffet breakfast ( included) and there’s also easy laundry facilities. There’s a beautiful roof top deck with resident cats and kittens - very very friendly and sweet. It was great to be close to the eastern entrance to the park. It was a short but lovely stay. We highly recommend this hotel."
