Glendalough boasts a most expansive wide water view of the lake and Smith Mountain.  The point property sits on 1023 feet of lake front, almost 5 acres of wooded and open lawn, with two large docks and large fire-pit.  Sleeping 16 adults in 6 bedrooms with 4 baths, you'll find Glendalough is the perfect spot for a family reunion or corporate retreat.  Glendalough retains much of her original charm, but with a few modern conveniences. You'll enjoy the Wifi, Xfinity TV Service, DVD, Blu-Ray and VCR players. No smoking in the house, please.

Work or play office space with Xfinity internet, 65 inch smart tv, USB ports and HDMI connections. Lift top coffee table that can also serve as a desk.

Fourteen may be served at the dining table, and there's seating for six more on the screened porch off the main floor. Enjoy the 7 person Hot Tub on the lower level screened porch! And on the dock, there's a canoe waiting for your enjoyment of the early morning mist or sunset over the lake. Decorated with antiques and a period Adirondack styling, you'll feel comfortable and at home the minute you walk in the door, and straight out to one of the two screened porches.  The lake surrounds the property on three sides and becomes your constant companion.

Amenities include:  4200+ square feet under air, regulation pool table, 4 TVs, Xfinity Wifi access, central heat and a/c, dishwasher, ice maker and cold water in door, 3 refrigerators, washer and dryer, kitchen fully equipped for large groups. 7 person hot tub, large fire-pit and canoe with paddle.

Sorry, covered boat slip & hoist not available for tenant use.

If you are placing your reservation thru VRBO or one of the Expedia channels and your anticipated visit is more than 90 days away, you will see 2 separate charges within 72 hours of placing your booking. The first charge will be the VRBO Service Fee* and the second charge will be $200 which is collected by Lake Retreat Rental Properties, LLC. From that point on, additional payments will be made directed to Lake Retreat Rental Properties, LLC.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If a reservation is cancelled with at least 90 days prior notice, 1/2 of the pre-paid rental payment will be refundable. If a reservation is cancelled within 90 days of your arrival date, no refunds will be issued. Notice of cancellation must be in writing, email is acceptable. Be sure to reference the rented property name and dates you had intended to visit.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: No one under the age of 25 may make a reservation. There must be one adult at least 25 years of age occupying the property. That qualifying person must provide payment via credit card for the rental deposit and is responsible for the leased property.
