The Gateway Restaurant & Lodge

8/10 Good
"Great location. The restaurant was oddly hit or miss; most meals we had were fantastic, but one night was surprisingly mediocre. The room was cozy, but not quite comfy. The toilet didn’t have a lid, the sliding balcony door needed a lot of muscle to lock, and the a/c was a bit loud. Also, the housekeeping staff, while super friendly and helpful, started each day talking just outside our window… at 6:30."

"Such a cute and rustic little cabin! Perfect for lovers of unique spaces and history. It has a lot of little quirks that a modern home doesn't, but I loved staying here and experiencing them all. The back deck was lovely too. It's a perfect for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and a few doors down from a great new market where you can get groceries, gifts, maps, etc."
