This hotel is without doubt “budget”. It’s dated and tatty and in the middle of nowhere, but the bed was comfy and was fine for a base for a couple of nights as I was working in Cambridge. The added bonus of having a basic continental breakfast was appreciated. Parking on site too. If it’s prices rise much more, it wouldn’t be worth it but for a cheap hotel it’s a decent enough base.

Very reasonable price, surprisingly big standard double room with a work desk & chair and big bed. Everything clean. Good shower. Noise level was fine, everything was silent by midnight. Bed was pretty hard but that's better than getting poked by springs I guess! Didn't stay for breakfast but it's just toast/cereal. Can't complain for the price though. 24hr staffed front desk. Would stay again if I had a need in the area.
