We found the hotel staff to be very friendly. Our room was clean and well-appointed, and the location was ideal for easily accessing the various restaurants nearby.
They DO NOT honor hotel.com reservations !! BEWARE
This room was book with hotels.com and when my crew got there to check in they would not honor the reservation. The desk clerk said they charge more for the room than what we paid via the hotels.com website.
After being on the phone for almost an hour I was told that everything was fine and they could check in only to find out a couple of days later that they charged our credit card again for the additional cost that I was told was taken care of. The card was given in good faith for any possible damages not additional room cost. If they are not going to honor the price they have on the hotles.com website they should not be on it.
Price was at the 3 star level in the neighborhood.
Placed in a no smoking room. Was claerly a room with smoking history. Price was higher than the quality.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The staff was very friendly but that was the only thing good about this hotel. When I went to check in I found that they had already charged my debit card without me knowing because I checked in after 6 p.m. I was not told when booking this room that my card was going to be charged after 6 p.m. They did refund the money. Then I was told that they did not have a handicap room available for me after I called twice prior to my stay to make sure I had a handicap room because I am in a wheelchair. They should have notified me prior to my stay that they didn't have a handicap room. They did move me to a handicap room when one opened up but it was still a big inconvenience. The second room was really dirty. My feet and socks were black by the end of the day and we barely stayed at the room. The tub didn't drain right. We had to use a plastic spoon to hold down the lever so it would drain. The shower light worked half the time. The towel rack barely stayed on the wall. They also didn't mention that a tree service was going to be there all week cutting down trees at 8 a.m. This was supposed to be a relaxing/sleep in vacation and that never happened. The breakfast was not even close to what a breakfast should be. The coffee was watered down, the milk was sour, the biscuits and gravy looked old, the bread was hard and there were only 2 kinds of cereal. This hotel is good for an overnight stay and thats about it. Just make sure you check in before 6 p.m. or your card will be charged!
We were told the breakfast included cereal, toast, juice, sweet rolls. Friday morning the breakfast did not include bread, the sweet rolls were old, no cereal, the biscuits were hard, and the gravy had the consistency of wallpaper paste. I am a vegetarian so there was nothing for me except juice.
We found this place on line and the reviews look ok, so we gave it a try. I was traveling with my children who are two younger teens. The first room we tried had bugs in the bathroom, we go to our car to unload to the second room and a group of guys are making cat calls at my 13 yr old daughter. The second room we tried was on the first floor and the noise was constant all night with slamming doors, people yelling and a couple arguing. This place seemed to have mostly construction type trucks in the parking lot and I would have been fine staying there alone, but I wouldn't stay again with my children.
Everything was great. After we checked out we needed a place to sit till our car was beeing worked on and they let us sit in the lobby for a while. The food was good. The hospitality was great. The rooms was great too. Thank you so much for everything they did while we were stranded in Alabama getting our car fixed. We went for a day trip and ended up staying for 2.

For the money I have found nothing
nicer in this area.Everthing I could
ask for out of an inexpensive hotel.
Free breakfast is the only real
downer.Not much more than some
toast and cereal but hey once again
at this price there are a lot of breakfast

Someone left pjs on the back of the door in the bathroom! Other than that
the room was acceptable. Another thing I did not like was some guy was stalking me outside by the steps! Didn't feel really safe there. I had to go to my car several times and he moved from one end of the building to the area by the steps where I had to get to my room.
Check in was super slow. The lady did not seem what she was doing and blamed it on the previous clerks. It was cold and I had to wait outside until she finished the check in process which took a good 20 minutes. She was going back and fourth with my credit card and driver license number. Then she gave me a smoking room when I clearly had booked a non-smoking room. Another 10 minutes passed until she checked the availability on the hand written chart. She gave me a handicapped room which allegedly was a non smoking room. By this time it was already midnight. Thankful for the check in process to end I took the key and hurried to my room when I found out that the room was being renovated and had tools and paint all over it. Angry I went back to the check in and after another saga of waiting outside in 28 degrees cold weather, I was able to have a two double bed non smoking room (although it was only I who stayed in the room). At 8.05 am the maids kept waking me up and wanted to know what time I was going to check out. Common people, give me a break. Check out it not until 11. At 10 am, I finally checked out and the maids were waiting outside my room to leave. Their cart had almost blocked my door. Not only it was unprofessional but extremely rude. I did not even bother to check their breakfast. I will never stay here again. It was a mistake to chose it in the first place.
