The property, south of the hotel has a generator that makes a lot of noise and ruins the calm and peaceful environment near the red sea.

L’hôtel était très bien mais malheureusement, nous sommes tombé malade à cause de la cuisine du restaurant le Blue Lagoon. Par contre le restaurant italien était très bien, nous n’avons eu aucun problème.

Ok for one night

We stayed there for one night at the end of our two weeks trip in Egypt. It's OK for one or two nights if you don't expect too much. Pro tip: skip their food and go to the restaurant "Medusa" next door - awesome food Positive: - clean - comfortable bed - affordable price - close to the kite station next door Negative: - horrible food (Egypt has amazing food but the hotels food is really, really bad: no variety, almost no choice, we got food poisoned etc.) - really noisy old fridge in the room that can't be unplugged - free WiFi only in the lobby and not in the rooms

My stay was an awful experience.. the food is not as expected.. all inclusive doesn’t help where I had to go out for lunch and dinner.. the pool is all crowded with people no social distancing .. people were swimming with all types of clothes.. no effort has been made to ensure a healthy us of public facilities... in many cases I was begging for ice.. young male guests have been bothering us at the beach... what received doesn’t match 40% of what I paid... I urge Hotels.com to review carefully before advise others to book there...

Closer to 2* hotel than 5*. Go somewhere else.

If I could, I would have checked out after the first 12 hours and gone somewhere else. However, our stay was non refundable. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was the “WiFi in rooms” as I needed to work at night. The WiFi on the hotel is horrible. If your are lucky, you can read an email or two in the lobby. Even when you pay ekstra for WiFi in your room, it’s useless. First thing I did when we entered the room was remove the dirty rug on the floor. I folded it up and put it aside. Even though mentioned to the reception, it remained in our room throughout our stay. The remote control for the tv had missing buttons and could not be turned on. This time I thought I would call reception to save going all the way down there. However, the phone in the room didn’t work. The kettle was plugged in to a faulty powerpoint and only worked when plugged in somewhere else on the floor. A playground is great when traveling with a child however this one was old, worn down and broken: the entry to the playground had a big sharp rock, mud and a tube from something... overall it was not a very child friendly playground. The pool area and especially the tiles around the children’s pool needs attention. See photos. Food was low quality. Postmix soda tasted like chlorine. Overall, this is definitely not our definition of a 5star hotel. Although reception staff wasn’t of any help at all, we did meet a few helpful, understanding and friendly staff members.

Als ich diese Hotel gebucht habe, stand Free wf. Als ich vor Ort war, habe ich gemerkt, dass Free Wf nur in der Lobby hätte sein sollen. In tat und Wahrheit habe ich meine Laptop um sonst mit genommen.Ich konnte in diesen 2 Wochen kein einziges mal die Zeitung herunterladen geschweige denn mein Mail überprüfen. Ich habe dann reklamiert in der Lobby. Die fade Antwort war, dass eben viel Leute zur Zeit im Internet wären. Ich habe es zu allen Tageszeiten versucht vergebens. Das Personal in der Lobby war bei Reklamationen unfreundlich und abweisend. Die Zimmer und der Zimmersevice war hervorragend. Das Personal im Speisesaal war freundlich zu sehr zuvorkommend. Manchmal dachte ich, die können die Gedanken lesen. Das bier stand schon da bevor ich mein essen geholt habe. Sehr sehr gut. Das Essen war reichhaltig. Schade, dass die Küche nicht liebevoller kocht. Man konnte es essen aber von einem 5-Sternhotel sehr weit entfernt. Sehr sehr schade.

Amazing hotel totally...the room is clean with a wonderful pool & sea view, the swimming pool is large enough for many guests with different depths & aqua also exists, restraunt services a tasty wide variety of food each meal, hotel has a large kite station & a long marine with a very beautiful view, soft drinks available every where, animation team is professional makes all guests happy, staff is smiley & helpful, at last it was a wonderful vacation at AMC hotel seeking to come back again in summer with all my family
