At Home in Hurley

My 87 yr old MIL and her son age 62 wanted to revisit her home town stomping grounds. This apartment was well furnished and was central to all they wanted to do and see. It was a very enjoyable vacation for them.

Very clean and quiet. Furniture and beds very comfortable. Only negative was not finding the furnace thermostat as nights grow colder.

Lovely

The property was our base for U.P skiing. It was more than adequate for its use. Home is clean and modern. We had almost no interaction with the owner, as there were no issues that needed addresssing.

Didn’t get door code till I contacted.

Everything was good about the actual property except they have kids running around upstairs early in the morning. My biggest issue is I had to contact the property owner to get the door codes instead of just sending them since I didn’t have at 5pm when we arrived.

June stay

The stay was absolutely fine. Seems maybe the sheets were not changed in one of the bedrooms, sheets were at the bottom of the bed crinkled up... and no pillows to be found. Just slept on top of the covers. I would stay again but let the host know. We did not let them know... but will next time. By the time we notice it was very late. Maybe time to update the furniture also....a little uncomfortable. Great location and it served it's purpose of what we needed..... June -- 45 and raining we asked the heat be turned on and they accommodated.
