"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Violeta! Our room was very clean and Violeta was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks on our large terrace with a view of the sea. Air conditioning was great. Location was very quiet as it was short walk from the busy town of Hvar. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel! "

"The deck offers an amazing view of Hvar Harbor as well as the Fort. Spacious layout, good communication, nice size bathroom and kitchen. Little walk from town, roughly 10 minutes, which can be a beneficial. Enjoyed and would stay again if fortunate to retur6"

"Totally false misleading room description - the basic "Double Room, Balcony, Sea View" option was described as "45 square meters" with "sea view" and "kitchenette". The green room (and all rooms on that side) is at most 20 square meters (no way it is 45 sqm). There is absolutely NO sea view as what you see is apartment complex and hills on opposite side. In fact, the sea is behind you so there is no way to see the sea from room balcony (physically impossible). And as for the rooms on the other...

"Je ne sais par où commencer, l’odeur dans la salle de bain était nauséabonde, des poils et des cheveux étaient dispersés un peu partout. Le rideau de douche était sale, tout comme le reste de la salle de bain. Dans la cuisine toute la vaisselle était sale, le frigo était plein de traces à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur, les prises électriques n’étaient pas du tout sécurisées et décollées du mur. "This is a really great little hotel. Perfect location, walkable to everything. The manager met us at the ferry and carried our bags up to the hotel( loads of stairs). The breakfast was made to order with many options and was delicious. The staff were all hard working and helpful. The room was smaller but very clean and had a view of the water! Would definitely recommend while staying in Hvar."

"I travelled with my husband and we stayed for 3 nights. It was a great short trip! The resort is beautiful and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The bathrooms were okay, they did not match the vibe of the rest of the hotel, but everything still worked. We had an issue with our balcony door and it was promptly fixed. There is wifi all over the resort including the lobby and the pool area. The buffet breakfast was my favourite part of the trip, the selection had everything you can imagine. The rest of the food was quite delicious too, including pizza, pasta and seafood. The staff were nice enough, but I found that when I spoke Croatian they changed their attitude and were more friendly towards me (I speak English with my husband). Overall I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity came up! "
