Family getaway

The house was perfect for us and our four adult daughters. Location is in walking to distance to restaurants, shopping and ferries.. the house had everything we needed and was very roomy. We also had our two adult dogs who also enjoyed their stay.

Great location, inviting property.

House was secluded and very private. Location was great to walk to restaurants and ferry. All the amenities needed for our stay. Difficulty in getting into the property. Could have used more towels and better instructions to use TVs and found no way to even turn on the fireplace. would stay again

Great location

Perfect location! The house was well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The entry level (ground floor) had a bit of a pet smell. The owner has a dehumidifier in the lower kitchen area and it worked all week long to keep up with the humidity.

Great Location Family Friendly

Amazing vacation home!! Spacious and clean with ample space for a large group. Large family room and kitchen/dining area for meals. Kitchen has everything one could need for entertaining. Backyard hot tub, fire pit and putting green for outside activities was very fun. Walking distance to ferry to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, restaurants & bars. Highly recommend this home for a visit to the Cape!!

Ideally located Cape Cod getaway

Just back from 1 week stay and give this property high reviews. Location is right across the street from the Hy-Line ferry lots which at first made us concerned it would be noisy/ too much traffic but turned out not to be a problem. In fact we twice used the high speed ferry (day trips to Nantucket and MV) and was great to have a 4 minute walk each way. House is nicely appointed and the hot tub was a bonus. We would definitely return.

Old Friends Reunion

Rented for a reunion with longtime friends. The Pictures did not lie. Stunning place. Photos are an accurate representation of the state of the place, which is to say immaculate and clean. Manager/Host was very accommodative of special requests. Location could not be more convenient. No real need for car. Only regret is we did not stay long enough to take advantage of everything: Putt putt, Hot Tub, Fire Pit, 2 kitchens, Grill, amazing tv area, formal dining area and on and on. Highly recommend.

Great Vacation Home!

Charming By The Harbor is a great vacation home. We absolutely loved it! There was plenty of room for my family of 8 and our dog. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean! It's conveniently located near the Ferry to Martha"s Vineyard/Nanatucket, walking distance to a number of shops and restaurants, and less than a 10 minute drive to a major grocery store. There were beaches nearby to choose from and lots to do on a rainy day as well. So much fun to sit around the fire pit and toast marshmallows! What also made our vacation so memorable was having Dawn as our guest concierge. She was excellent!. So responsive day or night, texted her with questions they were answered quickly and if any problems with the house, promptly addressed. I highly recommend Charming By The Harbor, you'll love it as much as we did! Debra C.

Fun Family Escape

Charming by the Harbor is just that and more. Our stay was just shy of a full week, but it was packed with so much to see and do. The house is very close to the ferry to Nantucket and the boats to go fishing. We even saw a Pirate Ship that would be a great excursion for those with young ones. We were in walking distance to the Main Street shops, cafés and restaurants. Short drive to the grocery stores, mall, and mini golf. We were lucky to arrive off season so no need for beach passes, but if needed the house comes with one for parking. The beaches are beautiful and the nearby hiking trails wonderful. Our fishing trip did not disappoint...came home with some freshly caught dinner. While in the heart of a hopping area, we always felt very private. The hot tub was wonderful, the beds comfortable and no shortage of comforts of home throughout. Thank you Chris, Dawn and our host homeowners. Charming by the Harbor was beautiful.

Wonderful Family Feeling Home!

This was a wonderful home to stay in, perfectly located to the harbor and Main Street. It is even nicer than the pictures, plenty of space and the family room was great for games and TV time. The hot tub was perfect, and the backyard is great to cook out in and enjoy down time together. We will book Charming By The Harbor again next year!

Beautiful new, private, large home just steps from ferry, Ocean St restaurants, baseball, and short walk or drive to 3 beaches, Melody tent, everything on Hyannis' Main St and more! Check in very easy; kitchen pristine; property manager Kim quick to reply to any questions. Home is very spacious, well kept and stunningly decorated. Our adult multigenerational family all had plenty to do, even on rainy days! Thanks for sharing your lovely home Dawn and Chris! We had a wonderful stay! Would highly recommend!

Great location

Good location easy to walk to main st and ferry. We were in town for kids sports event and the home was great for teens and adults. Some minor maintenance issues in home it definitely is a rental. Towels were very limited. All and all kitchen was great beds comfortable. The down stairs has a window AC unit and a mildew smell as other travelers mentioned.

Wonderful Location, Spacious House

We had a wonderful time in Hyannis, the location was perfect to walk to dinner, drinks, downtown and the ferry. The house had plenty of room for 10 adults. Lots of small areas to get some quiet relation away from the group, while also having plenty of room to all get together and share a meal or watch a movie or lay in the sun.

Beautiful house, perfect location!

This is a very beautiful house. The location is even better!! Very private!! You can walk downtown to Hyannis each night. The beaches are a little further away than you think. Especially if you have children and are carrying a lot of things we went down to the last beach every day. The house is very big and very roomy. It was my husband and myself and our two children with their spouses and their children. We each had our own floor!!!! The house looks like pictures. The back yard could use a little help. If you have kids there’s not a lot of room but if you’re all adults, then there is plenty!!! The only reason this home didn’t get a 5 star rating is because we had a couple of electric issues and they were looked at, but they were not fixed. Also there was no beach pass which was kinda a drag. Just more money I wasn’t expecting to have to pay. And also, I never met Chris or talked to Chris, but the property management people were very nice and tried to help us out. I would definitely recommend this to other people though!!!

Amazing location, gorgeous house, and wonderful hosts!

This house is a perfect location to walk into the town of Barnstable, to the water, and even to walk down to some of the closest beaches. The house is beautifully maintained and set off from the street so that kids and pets are safe from traffic. Plenty of parking is available, plenty of space to spend time indoors or outdoors, and enough space for a large family to all stay together. The hosts were very responsive and flexible. Would absolutely stay here again.

Fabulous family fun

Place was exactly what it looked like online but it was bigger and better than we thought! There were 6 of us-2 parents our 4 young adult children and our dog and we had so much space. Nice amenities. Jacuzzi every night. Walked to beach and town. Only drive was to whale watching on other side of cape cod. But Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket ferry’s were right down the street from us. Loved it!
