"The San Diego family traveled to Arcata for my grandson's high school graduation. The house was generously sized for adults and younger grandchildren who made the trip. The location was quiet yet close to grocery shopping in Sunny Brae. The house was very clean and neat, bath towels fluffy, kitchen fully equipped. The upstairs suite was perfect for the oldest (me) member of our troupe. I highly recommend Humboldt Haven!"

"Loved the house. I wished there was covering for the door. It has a lot of glass and people can look right in the door. Some of the items are placed to high for some people to reach. For example the laundry soap and the coffee mugs. No iron or ironing board. The knob to change from tub to shower head was very difficult to turn. Otherwise everything was perfect."

"We had a great time at Dune House A. Very clean and comfortable. We had a small issue with heat and hot water the first night and the host came right away and fixed it. Went for a walk to the dune beach nearby, the sequoia park zoo, trinidad to spot the elk and stopped at Agate Beach at the end of the day.Very convenient location for all the area offers! Even close enough for door dash if you’re too tired from adventuring at the end of the day to go out. "

"We came up with a program at Humbolt State. While only four adults and one teenager ended up staying, (we were planning another couple) everyone had space to do his or her own thing: tv, work at the table, nap, play pool, cook, and sit outside. It was nice to come back to after a long day of adventuring."
