「Beautiful room with a personalized welcome note and chocolates on the pillows. Amazing views of the citadel. Double paned windows completely cancelled out the street noise. Very friendly staff. Amazing historic decor and furnishings. Couldn't have asked for anything more.」

「Lovely and very kind staff. Check in earlier, which was very good. Spa and pool area was overcrowded and not so clean. A lot of children jumping and playing. The facilities were not as expected from a 4 star hotel. Saunas were out of order. Had very good dinner and drinks and service though. Some areas of the hotel needed repair. 」

「Hotel is a little tired and need modernising with a refurb, but for the price I think it was a reasonable stay for one night, very close to the town centre, free parking and use of a swimming pool is a bonus.」

「Very clean! The free breakfast is great with lots of choices - hot and cold. The pool area has lots of chairs, we just didn’t have the time to use it. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but did ask for a couple glasses of wine to take to our room which was no problem. Very easy walk to old town and lots if restaurants. Nice place! Enjoyable stay for us.」
