「We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace.
The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever.
I will be recommending this property to family and especially to business clients that need a chance to decompress.

「We stayed as a family with two children for one week in July 2025 in this cottage.Good:It’s a spacious cottage set in a well-kept, large garden with a clothesline. The location is great for exploring the coast, Sligo, and the Ox Mountains, and it’s very quiet.There are four bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen with a washing machine. 「We were a party of seven adults and two dogs, visiting family and for birthday celebrations. There was plenty of room in the house and more than enough crockery etc. for our group. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the beach. We ‘practised’ walking to the Beach Bar on several occasions! Sheila was quick to respond to any queries. And we had two weeks of Irish sunshine. A lovely stay and we would happily return.」
