Warm your toes by the wood burning stove, soak in hot springs & dance to the sound of records on the Victrola record player!

This remodeled one bedroom, one bathroom home is located just 1 mile to The Springs- Hot Springs Resort and just steps away from Boise Basin Museum (where you can enjoy a city walking tour), Diamond Lil’s Saloon, Sarsaparilla Ice Cream Parlor, The Goldmine Restaurant and Saloon, and preserved landmark buildings of this Gold Rush “boom” town founded in 1862. Take a short stroll and you will find the cutest shops, restaurants, historic buildings, Pioneer Cemetery, parks and saloons Idaho City has to offer! If you love the outdoors and backcountry, you’ll be close to countless hot springs (Kirkham Hot Springs is just a 55-minute drive, along with Pine Flats, Bonneville, Boat Box, Sunbeam and other natural hot springs!), gorgeous hiking trails, hunting, skiing, fishing, snowmobiling, mountain biking, snowshoeing and more!

The beautifully re-designed kitchen offers new cabinetry, granite countertops, floating shelves, and stainless appliances. Fully stocked, you’ll have everything needed to make a comfort meal. The property was really great. We didn't receive the eamil on December 25 with the security code and had to check around the small town to find someone who could get hold on the hostess. We are not able to get into VRBO with the security links codes due to poor internet service in area. Love the property would definitely stay there again! Shower sprays out the door when turning it on, that needs improved!

Perfect Getaway!
My husband is from a small town in Idaho (which was the same size as Idaho City when he was growing up) and this seemed like a great place to relax for a few days. We were not disappointed. The unit is adorable, very clean, incredible fridge, and super thick luxurious towels. The bar is a bit puzzling in terms of use of space but we enjoyed using margarita glasses for bourbon slushies and champagne glasses for Prosecco (we were celebrating). The queen bed is super comfortable (firm like we like it) and we slept great each night, even taking day naps! It's a bit tight in the room, however, and I stubbed my toe a few times (radiator would be better placed against another wall) but we were happy the bed was a queen and not a full. There are a lot of decorations which make the unit charming, however, a bit too much when you stay multiple days. We had to move stuff in order to play cards one night (happy that playing cards were provided). Fun listening to records on the turntable! Since we are not TV people, we were really happy to have that not be a centerpiece in any room. Serena's welcome book is great, filled with fun history, recommendations, and trivia. She even left us a few goodies & welcome note which was super sweet! Location is perfect. We so enjoyed walking around the historic part of town at different hours of the day and everyone was super friendly. Quiet during the week - which was perfect for us! We would absolutely return.

What a gem!
Our stay in Idaho City became a highlight of our vacation, with a big part of that being our stay at this property! The interior decor is absolutely perfect, but the record player was our favorite detail. It was incredibly easy to walk from the house - exploring the historic sites and shopping/dining on main street. All the amenities were top notch. We would love to stay again some day!

Excellent Stay!
The property is awesome and so is the host! Everything you could need is provided in this sweet little house. The welcome book with suggestions on things to do and places to eat is thoughtful and helpful. The town is so quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderfully relaxing time!! Definitely a place to stay in Idaho City!

Wish it could be 6 stars!
This place was absolutely outstanding! This is our second time staying here, and we plan to come back for a third! The space is clean, warm, and welcoming. Everything is in good working order. The gift baskets are great, and Serena even provides niche items like spray on olive oil we were able to use. We can't recommend her and her space enough!
