“My spouse and our adult son and his wife had an amazing 10 day stay at George’s traditional stone house. The location is perfect, approximately half way between the Port and Kamini. It is right beside Techne Restaurant but 20 steps up to the door of the house which provides you with privacy from the restaurant and the walking path below and magnificent views. We spent most of our time on one of the two exquisite patios which offered both shade and sun, as you prefer. It is one of the best……

“It is everything listed! The only issue may be how steep the stairs are, but this is not unusual on Hydra or in Greece for that matter. Things are built upward, not outward so there are usually steep stairs at hotels and even restaurants. I only mention it if you have older or weaker members, they may not be able to use the upstairs. My wife and I had no problems though and we're well over 50! Rania is very easy to work with and attentive! Definitely a great place to stay!”

“This was an excellent experience. The property was very charming, clean and in a great location. I enjoyed delicious coffee on the little balacony with a view of the harbor every morning. Very conveniently located for shopping and restaurants. The property managers were so friendly, caring and helpful. They provided for every detail a guest may need. From the very beginning the fantastic communication with Alex the host made it very easy to book and have all our questions answered. The villa offers so many delightful places to hang out as a group or in more intimate groups. Comfortable living room, dining room. a great kitchen to work in (we are a family of cooks) and an awesome outdoor cooking area made our family time perfect. The views are unmatched. It’s location……

“This property was full of surprises! From the bountiful flower garden, the unique stone art sitting areas on each floor, and the wonderfully outfitted rooms! But what was even greater than the full sea view from the balcony, was the hospitality of the host who lovingly maintains the property grounds, finds books in guests’ language from the borrow library and inquires about his guests’ experiences and adventures. I would not only stay again, but I would entertain a longer stay. LOVED IT!!!”
