Cozy, spacious cavin

Really loved staying here. Is even bigger than it looks and was really clean comfortable and cute. Well stocked kitchen, rokus on every tv, and comfy beds.

My wife and I lived our stay here. Our corgi puppy also enjoyed the property where he could roam free. Definitely will come back again. Perfect size for quick getaway. Easy walk or bike ride into town. Quiet and cozy.

Great weekend get away!

We loved this little cabin in the mountains - we enjoyed the location - less than 1/2 mile from restaurants and little shops. The hot tub was great too. It got cool at night so we used the fireplace to stay a little warmer. The place is very clean and nice , but the master bath shower could use some love - it’s a little moldy. We definitely would stay here again.

Just a Little Slice of Heaven

This place was exactly what I hoped it would be - Tucked away in the forest but close enough to run to the grocery store and grab some more wood and champagne!!! We were comfortable the moment we walked through the door and for our entire stay!! The beds were AMAZING!! and the fireplace was so cozy and warm! We all hated to leave but will always have such great memories of a weekend away resting and relaxing!!

Quaint cabin in the woods

Great property with plenty of room for a family of four plus a furry friend or two. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials such as cooking oil, salt and peppers, herbs and spices. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The property also has some very nice touches like a dog bed, umbrella and scarf in case you've forgotten those things. It's also conveniently located within walking distance from town.

Wonderfully Cozy, Dog Friendly and Memorable

We had a wonderful stay at Crow's Nest and would not hesitate to go back. Even with high VRBO fees, it was worth every penny, and we couldn't recommend it more. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to everything (even if the quiet roads aren't SUPER pedestrian friendly), yet far enough from everything to feel totally removed. It really does feel like your own private mountain spot for a few days, with a fantastic large yard for dogs and everything you could possibly need inside. The only minor frustrations: No firewood was provided, so be sure to get some on the way in (pretty much everyone sells firewood!). The internet was VERY slow with no instructions provided on how to reset the modem. We measured the speed at 2 mbps, though we were able to watch streaming movies. Also, it would be great to have clear instructions on operating the hot tub -- caution: the cover is VERY heavy. Suggestion: Provide a couple of board games, as there was no time to do a 500-piece jigsaw in three days. :) We had one minor problem with non-existent water pressure in the kitchen. We called at 5 p.m. PT and the maintenance person was at the door promptly the next morning! These are minor issues. Overall, everything is just wonderful. The rustic charm is perfect. It was our first getaway since October 2019 (yikes!) and we couldn't have found a better spot for it.

Crow’s Nest Idyllwild

Wonderful cabin like home in a rustic setting. It felt private and secluded yet we were only a few minutes away from great restaurants, stores, and the local market. I definitely recommend this place!

Great little place in the woods. The couch is a down couch, which was a problem for our friend who is allergic, but everything else in the house was good. Really appreciate how dog friendly it was.

Charming relaxing adventure

This is a place where we spent time on the deck surrounded by trees and woods in a peaceful neighborhood. The walk to town was an adventure I’ll be coming back. I left it here.

Nice Bungalow

The photos do not depict how close the neighbors really are next to you (especially when in the hottub) or behind you. The house was clean for the most part when we arrived. We have a Tundra and it barely squeezed in through the front gate. Location was tranquil, but too far to walk to the village, although the drive was 5 min or less. There is no cable but plenty of apps avaliable through Roku for streaming. Would stay here again without the kids.

Peace in the Mountains

Review:I had a lovely stay at this peaceful, dog-friendly mountain retreat. The home was cozy, well-appointed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The front yard was beautifully landscaped, and the deck created the perfect space for outdoor relaxation. Although the weather didn’t allow me to enjoy the hot tub, I still had a wonderful time. I would definitely love to visit again!

Charming inside and out

Lilacs, daffodils and a dusting of snow on the pines welcomed us to the Crow's Nest cabin. The location is perfect--less than 10 minutes from popular trails, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the eclectic decor, small functional kitchen, comfy beds and beautiful views from the windows and deck.

Nice cabin under the trees

The location is great, with beautiful large trees, secluded and walkable to town. The cabin was tidy and clean, has an open layout with lots of natural light. The two bedrooms are large and the bathrooms clearn. The cabin has counter seating for eating, so we used the patio table and chairs on the deck. The deck is large with Adirondack chairs and a good place to sit and enjoy trees and watch the blue jays and robins. The hot tub was, unfortunately, unuseable as it had not been cleaned/serviced in quite some time. A previous guest must have used the fireplace, so while it was clean (no ashes) the house smelled of woodsmoke. The couch, as other reviewers have said, is uncomfortable. Overall it was a good experience, and a restful stay.

Storybook cottage

The Crow’s Nest is a storybook cottage: rustic but comfortable, woodsy but fashionable, quiet and private but also intown. Large beautiful deck! Hot tub! Fenced in yard! Working fireplace! Cozy beds! Cook-ready kitchen! A pleasure in every way. Plus, it’s in Idyllwild!

Beautiful home, terrible customer service!

The home was beautiful! Don't expect the spa to work (it looked like it hadn't been working for weeks). We received a phone call an hour before check in and I had to call back and wait 15 minutes on the phone line before speaking to a representative to hear this news. We were really looking forward to a spa, and this is something that they could have notified us about before the day of check in. This company sent me several texts about the rental before check in, so I would have expected a little more notice. Definitely put a damper on the weekend!
