Rosemary... If you have a bad back, you should call before booking to see what floor a room is on. The innkeepers were not correct. That room was not available for the entirely of your stay. Also, why should other guests who booked a room with a full kitchen be inconvenienced because you aren't aware that sometimes motel rooms are on the second floor. You told the police you couldn't drive after dark however you left during the day and came back to throw a temper tantrum like a 5 year old that didn't get her way. Instead of leaving the property again, you refused to leave our closed lobby and gift shop for the entire night causing the entire staff an immeasurable amount of stress. I tried to call you several times and you wouldn't answer. You were were clearly breaking the law and should of been arrested imho.

Nobody stole your money. You booked without reading the policies and showed up with kids when we're 21+. I'm sorry but we can't give refunds for same day cancellations.

We are not under construction actually. We were remodeling a bathroom and we're generally working on projects to improve the property. The bathroom remodel was in a different building than your but I guess some people need everything to look perfect at all times. As far as your cleanliness claims, you told the innkeeper everything was great during your stay. I inspected the room after your review and it looked great. After your stay, you did request a full refund on Expedia for issues that don't seem to exist. I'm sorry but you seem like some sort of scammer. Or a Karen maybe?
