Nestled peacefully amongst ancient pine trees, the Be Well Yurt is a sanctum in the wild, beautifully situated alongside historic Strawberry Creek. Gaze up at the stars through the clear dome top, as your stress is melted away by sounds of the seasonal bubbling brook below. Enjoy slow mornings on the deck, with views of towering pine & cedar trees. A sanctuary with every comfort you can imagine - a the Be Well Yurt is an unforgettable experience.

Guest Access:

The entire 1 acre of property is yours to enjoy! Private Home with wraparound deck, creek access, hot tub access, and private access to our "Fairy Glen" fire pit lounge area. Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not trespass onto their land - property lines will be identified in your welcome video.



The Neighborhood:

Located on Strawberry Creek, this land offers the soothing sounds only a seasonal creek can provide (usually running September through May, sometimes all year). Colorful foliage and apple trees ripe for the picking can be enjoyed in the fall. Come springtime, enjoy frogs croaking and the sweet scent of lilacs in the air as they bloom. Walking distance to town (20 minutes), and a short 10 minute walk to popular coffee shop Alpaca Coffee & Tea, as well as brunch & dinner spot Mile High Cafe. 2 minute drive to Idyllwild Arts Academy.



Getting Around:

You will need a car to properly enjoy Idyllwild, though you won't need it all the time. Hiking trails, restaurants, and the town square are all accessible within a 20 minute walking distance. Everything in Idyllwild is accessible within 5-10 minutes by car. 2 parking spots available for the guest space - please park where indicated to keep space clear for UPS deliveries, thank you!



Other Things to Note:

NO TRESPASSING to the neighbors land. The solar lights are a line of demarcation - PLEASE DO NOT PASS THESE LIGHTS, it will upset the neighbors.



FIRM CHECK OUT TIME of 11am. We have a contract with the cleaning service that does not accommodate late check-outs. A $50/per hour fee will be charged for checkouts after 11am to cover the fees that will be charged by the cleaning service, thank you in advance for your understanding.



ALL GUESTS must be mentioned in your request to book, and approved before your stay. No additional un-approved guests allowed.



Pets are allowed with a $100 Pet Fee. Please make sure you have added your pet to your reservation under the number/type of guests. If you are having trouble, message us for assistance.



PET RULES:



1. Up to 2 dogs allowed

3. Must be POTTY TRAINED - you will be charged in addition to your pet fee for any pet accidents.

4. FRIENDLY, WELL-SOCIALIZED dogs only.

5. Dog must be ON LEASH WHEN OUTSIDE, AT ALL TIMES. Breaking this rule will result in you being asked to leave the property.

6. Dogs CANNOT be left unattended - EVER. Pet must GO WITH YOU everywhere you go, including meals out (this is a pet-friendly town, call the restaurant ahead of time to ask for a pet friendly table).

7. Pay the $100 pet fee - this happens automatically if your pet is included in the reservation. If you did not include your pet, then you will need to add them where you indicate the number of guests. If you need assistance, please message us.



420 friendly OUTSIDE ONLY and away from shared spaces - we can smell it when folks try to smoke indoors, ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEES WILL BE CHARGED. FIRE SAFTEY must be adhered to - please be sure to safely contain anything that may still be hot or burning. Our town has been plagued by fires in the last few years - please do not be the cause.



Tobacco Cigarettes must be smoked OFF PROPERTY... feel free to take a walk down the street - but please do not smoke around communal areas - this is a WELLNESS space, please respect that. THC is allowed OUTDOORS only.



If you STAIN or BREAK something, PLEASE SAY SOMETHING. We understand accidents happen, and if we see that you've done your best to help us take care of it and let us know what has happened, we will be much less likely to charge you. BIOHAZARD WASTE (ie: vomit/blood) & sheet stains NOT immediately reported to us and not reasonably attended to by guests will be subject to additional cleaning fees.



EXCESSIVE TRASH/FILTH will be met with additional cleaning fees added to your bill.

NO LOUD MUSIC OUTSIDE - We have wonderful relationships with our neighbors, please help us keep things that way.



Please WASH DISHES before you leave. This isn't a hotel - we are sharing a magical and personal space with you, please treat it as you would a dear friend's house. Thank you!



Ample parking for up to 4 cars.



No refunds for stays when there is snow or a storm in the forecast unless the mountain is impassable. If the roads are open, we do not offer refunds. Power shutoffs due to high winds or tree maintenance can happen without warning. In the event of a power shut-off, we provide emergency lanterns and alternative heat sources - we do not offer refunds due to weather or power outages.



Refunds issued in compliance with our cancellation policy will be subject to any credit card processing fees charged by third party service providers. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
