The hotel is clean and comfortable. The owner and staff are all very helpful and cheerful. Able to communicate in simple English and they have a part time staff who speaks Mandarin as well. Great food around and helped us to reserve table outside. Great Japanese breakfast. Great in-house indoor and outdoor onsen. They are so kind even helped us to park every evening and brought us our car back every morning. Hot electric water pot in the room with 2 choices of tea leaves and 2 full set of...

My stay at Wafu-no-Yado Masuya was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Yamanouchi, this ryokan offers a peaceful retreat with authentic Japanese charm. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm hospitality and impeccable service. Their kindness and attentiveness made me feel truly welcome.
The rooms are beautifully designed in a traditional Japanese style, complete with tatami mats and futon beds. I especially loved the private outdoor onsen.
