「We stayed in one of the 10 Slab Huts, very rustic but comfortable. Close to tourist locations with QANTAS Founders across road and Stockmans Hall of Fame both within short walking distance. The only drawback would be the traffic noise from highway with road trains travelling 24/7.」

「Didnt get there, because of mother nature, the road was closed, rang to tell them, was told no refund. So wasnt to happy, as it wasnt our fault we couldnt get there.」

「My stay.at Longreach was OK. The room was clean although looking tired, curtains stained & need to be renewed. The hosts were great people, very ameniable. I think considering where the town is one can’t expect what’s available in larger places which draw considerably more tourists.」
