The road to get in from Imlil is tricky: very narrow, can fit one small car only. It was blocked one day while we were there, which could have been a big problem if we needed to drive that day. 「The riad is located in Imlil with amazing view of the Atlas mountains from the terrace, the room was very clean and cosy. Any concerns were dealt with high professionalism and huge generosity by the manager - Abdou. All the staff were amazing ( thank you to Ibrahim for cooking the most delicious tagine and soup ) and the Riad was best located as starting point for trekking. One of the best places we stayed in Morocco. Hugely recommended. 」

The hotel is built of local red sandstone and is beautifully laid out. Pool too cold in Jan but looks fabulous. Food on our visit was relatively limited choice; we stayed 1 nightwith a 40 minute drive from Marrakech (local hotel transfer 270 DAM each way) Incredibly beautiful setting - wonderful rest in the warm January sunshine. 」
