“Hotel Biffy is a beautiful property. The rooms are nice. The staff are professionaly, courteous, helpful and most speak English. On the flip side, Hotel Biffy is primarily a function venue. I stayed for 8 nights. Of those, there were events 4 of the 8 nights. 2 went well past midnight. 2 went until 2AM. There is no soundproofing for the rooms. Every plastic chair being dragged across the tile floors is heard throught the hotel. The music for these events is always played at a level 12 out of……

“We booked a room, showed up before checkin time and they were not operating yet for the season. Mistakes happen, so we weren’t too upset as we found a nearby room at Hotel Portobello . The groundskeeper told us to get a refund thru Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel, the hotel denied our refund. They said we didn’t cancel within the cancelation time frame?? This place is such a scam. I do not recommend unless you want to risk losing your money. ”
