The house was absolutely perfect for a family celebration. We had a wonderful time, and look forward to staying there again in the future.

We were in Tahoe for a family skiing trip. The house was located in a great place. It was warm, inviting and clean. Beds and living areas were very comfortable with plenty of sunlight. The game room was a little dark but a great place for play. We had an issue with the coffee maker and the local team responded quickly with a brand new replacement.

Pros: The house feels big and spacious. The kitchen area has a comfy breakfast nook. The downstairs is unique with another family/entertainment room. Fun throwback VHS tapes and DVDs to play. Good location, partial views of the lake. Plenty of options for food and close to Sand Harbor Beach.
Cons: Upstairs family room needs a bigger TV. Decks and downstairs bathroom needs some fixing and care, but those aren’t biggies to me. There seems to be a moth issue going on but again not a biggie. The right wing on the pinball machine doesn’t work, so you can’t really play. Mini pool table only has an 8 ball. No darts for the dart board.

This home is a period time piece from the early 90s and not in a good way. Half of what is necessary doesn’t work. The giant primary bedroom has a tiny full size bed when it should have at least a Queen and more adequately a king size bed., the carpets are stained and dirty, the amenities outdated, knives are dull, dishwasher racks broken, laundry area fan loud, lightbulbs in hallway out, deck is splintered and mossy, BBQ tied off, I could go on and on. Until someone puts a good amount of money into this forgotten home, I would NOT recommend staying there.

Simple process for rental. House was spacious and while older, well maintained. We fixed the pinball machine that had a few issues and the kids loved playing it in the game room.

The living area and kitchen are nicely furnished and roomy enough to accommodate several people comfortably. Love the rock fireplace, the cathedral ceiling and the large windows. There are some maintenance issues such as shabby vertical blinds and screen doors, and the deck needs maintenance.

This home is a museum to 1983 from the garage sale posters to the brass bathroom fixtures. It is a low end home in a high end neighborhood. It has a lot of deferred maintenance: stained white carpet throughout, ripped screens, torn furniture, a hole in the garage door, etc. Not worth the money.

Overall we enjoyed the home. We had a few issues up front but Vacasa was very quick to make the fixes needed and offer solutions. The home needs some updates for sure and if these updates are made the home would be much better.

My group of 5 single ski guys does an annual trip and this buy far was our favorite place to date. Very nice, so much room to relax and stash gear and clothes, a kitchen that allowed us to cook full dinners for hungry men after snowboarding. The TV and deck and garage were all also awesome. (NOTE: as the description clearly says - We definitely needed 4WD during winter as the house is a mile or so up a steep and windy hill.) We were so happy and satisfied with our stay, would absolutely return next year!

The home is spacious and clean. Lots of room to spread out. Dated appliances and style. Dishwasher is not fixed to the walls and tilts forward. Master bath smells like smoke. Great and quiet location. Snow removal service was fantastic the morning after a storm. Adding an actual dining room table would be nice. I think with a bit more attention to detail and updated amenities, this would be an A+ house.

This is a well maintained older home in a great neighborhood. It has vaulted ceilings, plenty of space and seating. It was quiet, easy access to shops, store. Instructions to get into the home were easy. Driveway was snow-free and we were able to park a large truck in the garage. Sleds were provided and used.
The layout of the house can accommodate a large family (we had four teens and mom/dad). The bonus space downstairs was the teen hangout with movies, games, privacy, and it was tucked away near the bedrooms. Master is huge, lots of closet space. There is a linen closet fully stocked with plenty of towels. Hotel size shampoo/conditioner and hand soap was provided. Three bathrooms were appreciated, having three teen girls! House had everything we needed, we did not need to buy anything.
Definitely recommend this house!!

The interiors are simply amazing, especially when it's snowing outside. You can sit in the living room and observe outside in all directions. The large living room gives a very open feel. The place is furnished well and thoughtfully.
Only encountered two issues - the dishwasher soap loading mechanism is broken, and the master bedroom door sometimes get stuck and requires a lot of force to open.
But highly recommended, despite these issues.

The main space is really open and airy. My kids were able to play while we cooked, etc. The kitchen has all the pots and pans (including a very cute vintage crockpot) that you would want, but the appliances are terribly outdated. We had a real struggle with the oven. Either the broiler doesn't work or we couldn't figure out how to work it. There was no laundry detergent. I had read there would be and was counting on it. It was kind of funny that the departure instructions asked us to start a load of laundry. There were lots of things that were broken. Honestly, the pinball machine was key in our decision to rent this place because we thought our kids would really love it. It was broken. The fireplace didn't work. And there were lots of old VHS players and "boomboxes" but many of it was inoperable. Overall we had a nice stay, but I think some care could be taken to pay more attention to details (spider web in the bathroom, shampoo/conditioner in BOTH bathrooms, laundry detergent, etc.) to make it more comfortable. And maybe the pinball machine picture should be removed until it's fixed.

The house is very spacious with plenty room for kids to play. Kids playroom in the first level is a plus. Lots of lighting on main level. Close to places with snow activities. Price is very reasonable for house that is $1,200,000+ in value. Also, very clean and accurate interior and exterior.
P.S. hand rails on staircase to the lower level might need to be reinforced, they were somehow loose when we got there.
I would definitely recommend this vacation home to my friends and any family with kids.

On the outside the home looks good. Except for the dishwasher and toaster the rest of the appliances didn't work and should be junked. There are plenty of signs advising that things are broken and can't be used (Fireplace, Pinball Machine). The TV in the master bedroom is slightly larger than the toaster. There is gum stuck on the shelf in closet, still there when I left. Plenty of room in the garage for two cars and the view through the trees is beautiful.
