“This is an adorable cabin set in a peaceful wooded community. There are neighbors but they aren't very close to the property and you truly feel surrounded by forest. Occasionally you will hear a train passing by, but mostly the only sounds are the trees, birds, and the nearby river. My husband and I loved our weekend getaway here. It was so cozy in the cabin and the temperature was comfortable (we went in the summer). We loved that our dog was able to join and that the cabin is so close to great……

“Very quiet neighborhood. Access to the cabin is easy to find from US2. To the cabin, there is a narrow and gravel road, so drive slowly (10 to 15mils/hrs) and need to caution oncoming vehicle. The cabin is very clean and have enough kitchen goods, so you can cooking at the cabin. You should get groceries before coming to the cabin. One grocery store in Gold Bar by US2.WIFI connection is sometimes weak and cell phone as well. A land line was in the cabin if you need to call.I enjoyed outside……

Amenities were appreciated, and the hot tub was clutch after hikes. Only real issues were the creaky beds which tended to wake us during the night.”

“This was one of the best equipped rental kitchens we have ever had. We rented the house with some friends to cook a holiday dinner / BBQ together and almost everything we needed was already there, big mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons, cutting boards etc. It was a really nice set up. “Absolutely fantastic stay by the river. We had no idea what to really expect because we have never been to Washington before. This place is like out of movie. Stunned by the mountain backdrop off the deck. Everything was perfect and clean. Beds were soft and plenty of space for our family of 4. Hot tub was great after a hiking. “This was a lovely little cabin in the woods, exactly what we were looking for for our anniversary getaway. Great proximity to hiking and the river, and also to “the big city” for a night out. The cabin was equipped with all the essentials. The only downside was the smell outside from the incinerator toilet. “This cabin is absolutely perfect! It was a beautifully crafted getaway for me and a friend with the most perfect patio coffee views of the river and snow capped mountains.. I miss it already! “I strongly advise anyone traveling with pets not to bring their dogs to this property due to serious safety concerns with aggressive dogs on-site. During our stay, there was an initial warning sign when we were walking our dog on the property the day before and experienced an aggressive encounter with another dog residing on the property. The following day, the host’s dog unprovokedly attacked our dog, Peanut, resulting in injuries that required urgent veterinary attention and stitches. While……
