「We had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with this homestay. After booking the room days in advance, we drove nearly 7 hours to reach the property — with my wife unwell during the journey — only to receive a call from Mr. Bijoy at 5 PM asking us to cancel our reservation. His reason was that the existing guests “couldn’t fly out of India” and would be extending their stay. This is completely unacceptable. A confirmed booking is a commitment. 「This property is in Park street which is old city of Kolkata. Area around property is too noisy and dirty every where people and people no place even to walk. People just throw garbage everywhere and keep splitting everywhere no place to walk without splits. How people don’t have common sense they clean their faces but makes streets dirty. Regarding property it was old houses that converted in hotel, whole staff was very good they can cook breakfast and dinner on demands, make tea and coffee....
