“Run down hotel and unclean upon arrival with human hair in sink. Notified front desk but didn’t care. Phone in room didn’t work and staff just didn’t care”

The room had a faulty fire alarm or a battery which needed replacement. The fire alarm beeped the entire night. It was impossible to sleep and rest during the night. 4. “Very nice downtown hotel. Had to pay $35 per night for parking. Have to purchase breakfast. Nice people. Comfortable room and bed. Still quite nice.”

“This hotel is an exceptional experience with its wonderfully preserved architecture and modern conveniences to its stained glass windows and clever, but tasteful, reminder of its former life as a convent. Tasty breakfast is served in the chapel dining room. Great location in the heart of St. Paul.”

“Unusual hotel stay but overall worked out well. Staff were friendly and helpful, but they were often not at the reception desk. Didn’t need the ladies a lot but had questions several times; we called 2x & texted 1x about where to find the room safe in the room & how to get extra towels. Each time, we went to the lobby to get our answer. Fwiw, there are no safes in the rooms (“We don’t have safes because we’re not a hotel. And since no one enters your room but you, nothing will be stolen.” First,……

“The lady at the front desk was such a delight!! Parking is a pain but I was fortunate enough to snag a street spot in front of the building.”

“Our bathroom was not clean, the tile was filthy and there was very clear water damage on the wall near the shower entrance. I enjoyed having a mini fridge but for the cost I wish breakfast was included. Also wasn't aware there was a parking fee when booking. Big positive is the Hilton App for having a digital key, LOVED that!”

“The rooms are always clean at this hotel and the staff is very welcoming and remembers who you are which is always a fun experience. I like the private parking access especially if you are there for car events and need a safe parking space! The pool area could use some updating but overall it was nice to stay, I will say the only thing is that the rooms do get a little muggy in the summer especially if you are placed in a hotel that is higher up!”

“The room was as described all. Overall the place had a seedy vibe and that paired with a horrible smell and no warm water, we did not stay and booked elsewhere.”
