If you like cold showers...

If you like taking showers in cold water, this is your place. There was no hot water. Also parking in the rear is impossible due to high weeds. Street parking is the only option. On the plus side, the location is good if you are going to Lucas Oil Stadium. Also the house was clean. It is very bare-bones with no amenities like extra blankets. If location is your only concern, it is well situation in downtown Indianapolis.

Hard to get information from host.

I didn't get to stay at the property because lack of communication. Verbo was awesome in finding a place to stay the night. We ended up coming back the next day.

Not what we expected, but easily made the best of it.

My family and I were traveling to Indianapolis for a week long trip to watch the Olympic Swim Trials. We had our two 12 & 13 year old boys with us. This home seemed, according to a map on a Vrbo app before knowing the exact location, within walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium however, upon receiving the actual address and doing a google search. My heart sank. This home is NOT in the best of locations and is absolutely not in a neighborhood I’d go outside in the dark in, forget walk home in. I was very upset about the location. Inside, the home was clean however, the bathroom door was broken. It did not lock and once it was closed, we had to use our body weight to throw ourselves into the door to open it. Also, the blinds on the bathroom window were broken, allowing anyone walking through the dirty, trash littered alley out back to see in. I had to hang a towel over the window all week. The pots/pans are very old and were super hard to cook with - I’d recommend eating out if you stay here. The upside is there is an alarm - thankfully, bc I probably couldn’t have slept without it. The front bedroom with bunks was comfortable, as was the queen bed in there. The queen in the other bedroom was not comfortable at all. We loved Indianapolis, great city with so much to do and see. Our only negative experience was this rentals location (which really was horrible, to put it mildly) and the minor issues we experienced that were more of a nuisance than anything.

Dissatisfied

The property did not match the description provided. It was extremely dusty and dirty, which led to my child having an asthma attack due to the poor air quality. The place also had a strong bleach odor that was quite off-putting. Simply spraying with strong chemicals does not equate to proper cleaning. Additionally, the owner failed to respond to any of my comments or concerns. The neighborhood felt unsafe, and the parking area in the back was overgrown with grass. Overall, this place is severely overpriced and I would not recommend it.
