No A/C upstairs and sketchy area
When arriving, we were a little apprehensive of the neighborhood as there was an abandoned building next door with graffiti and busted windows. Strangers came up to the door a few times with one being in the middle of the night. However, we did feel safe with the security system allowing us to view the outside of the front and back doors before answering. The grass was very tall and the mail box and trash outside were both overflowing. When we got inside, the house was beautiful and above expectations. The basement was absolutely adorable. However, the top floor was completely unusable because the A/C was not working up there at all which is also where all but the bunk beds were. We contacted the owner but unfortunately she was not available to fix it. She did give us a 50% refund. We stayed on the first floor for a while but that slowly got hotter. The top floor got to 90 and the first floor was high 80s around 8pm. We ended up moving a few mattresses to the basement and we all just slept down there. I do believe if it weren't for the heat we would have enjoyed the property.A few notes to add for others coming to this house:The stairs are 100% not safe if you have kids.There are barely any pansAnd all the bunk bed railings are at level with the mattresses. There were both dead and live bugs of varying types all over.
