DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

When we first arrived, the key pad for the house was dead and we had to sit out in the rain for 30 minutes waiting for the host to contact us. Then we finally get inside and the whole house REEKS of weed. My friend found ash in her bed and the smell never went away. A week later I get a charge for $400. I call the host and again they don’t answer. I finally contact them the next day and they claim that we smoked in the house because of the smell and they had to run an ozone machine for 6 hours and had to cancel their next day reservation. The host claims that there was ash in the bed and the smell was because we smoked there. They claim that the property manager and cleaning crew walks through before every guest but how would they get in before us if the keypad didn’t work? And why would they not air out the smell? Very sketchy and very unprofessional. Don’t stay here if you don’t want to get charged for 400 dollars for something you didn’t do! All very sketchy!

Back in Indy

The home was very comfortable, and gave us a lot of options for making it cozy while we stayed. It gave us a centralized location where we could escape to and prepare for our trips around the city from the south side to the north side. I grew up on the south side and around that area, and yes, there are some different neighbors, but overall it was a good experience. The management team was very helpful and did their best to get back to us in a timely manner. Both my brother and I have small children and both said, we would be more than happy to stay there again with our family when we go back. To Indianapolis to visit. Thank you home base for providing us a small home base for our family's needs thi past weekend.
