The location is also on the canal-side so great walks on starting on the doorstep. Lodge was lovely and the log burner was lovely to put on after a long evening walk this time of year. ONLY negative for us is that we feel the entrance door on the Redbrook lodge needs a little blind or something on the window for privacy. Also the light coming in if you want a lie-in.……

“Fantastic stay. Please dont be put off by the lack of reviews on here. Myself and 3 friends had a brilliant long weekend. The cottage is nicely decorated and very clean. Bedding and towels were included (the description for the cottage says otherwise, but they are there). A full working kitchen with all the equipment you need. “We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff.
