Every thing was so like brand new that I even conveyed to the owner that I was afraid to scratch or dirty anything. I asked the owner why he put "just basics" in the description. "The boathouse was perfect for me and my husband! We had everything we needed, took full advantage of the kayak and spent hours on the water!! It was just beautiful and we saw so many manatee!! The bed was comfy and the shower was great! Teddi goes above and beyond to make sure you’ve got everything you need including info about restaurants etc. I hope we’re lucky enough to stay here again someday."

"We were in Inglis with family who stayed at another VRBO—all spending time with our sister and bro-in-law who live in Venice. Nice house, great views living in the trees. Clean, great shower and nice hot water and great water pressure with plenty of room in house and on screened porches to sit around and chat. Beds were comfy. "The staff were all very friendly and helpful, we booked a guided kayak tour and it was amazing and our guide Zach was very knowledgeable and helpful. I read the hotel reviews prior to arrival and the most common negative comments were no coffee pot and slippery tubs and I agreed with them, everything else was great. But due to the review, I just brought my own coffee pot and while we were there the cleaning staff brought a rubber mat to solve the slippery tub. I will definitely stay at Paddletail Lodge if ever in Crystal River again. "
