View from the room was incredible! Great location for exploring Innsbruck in a day, very easy to walk around, close to many dining options and shopping. Room was very clean, staff were friendly, overall a great stay! We also utilized the secure luggage storage. However the privacy in the bathroom could be improved as it is fully glass walls and doors.

The staff particulary the young lady from Hungary was super. The room was decent and very clean. As the name Basic says it is basic. I did not eat the Breakfast but it appeared to be typical European. SUPER location to the Christmas markets, shops and restaurants. I would stay here again anytime.

Our 3rd stay here so they must be doing something right. Great location by the river a few minutes from the old centre. It’s not Tyrol cute & pretty but it provides ample room space etc for a short stop-over, easy check-in and great breakfasts from the on-site cafe downstairs. Sensible price too for city centre location.

A lovely place to stay

The front desk people were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and cozy. My only complaint is that it was a little loud outside, which is outside of the hotel's control, but perhaps they could provide your plugs.

This property's location is fantastic! A great base for exploring the altstadt of Innsbruck. The staff were all excellent and kind, and the breakfast offerings were good. Parking at the nearby garage was convenient enough and reasonable. The elevator is tiny, however, so traveling with more than two people and luggage means multiple trips. Would definitely recommend this property to others!

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Dont let the word Basic fool you. Great location by the river and easy transport links both for the airport and to the cable cars. Hotel has great clean modern warm rooms, yes the bathroom being in the room is 'interesting' but all good. Wonderful friendly helpful staff and a fabulous breakfast.. hot options cooked to order. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel, just great!

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). Overall the location was good and very close to the essential sites of Innsbruck. We parked in the neighboring parking garage (for 22 euros). The breakfast was great. I wasn’t expecting a cappuccino, latte and made to order eggs and bacon. It was great!

Great, centrally located hotel with a few tight parking spaces on site (rare in Innsbruck!) for the same day rate as the local parking garage down the street. Friendly and helpful staff at check-in, comfy beds, blackout curtains, excellent AC, spacious room, fast internet, great shower, and nice (mostly cold foods) continental breakfast with cooked egg options available. Easy access to all modes of transit, with Innsbruck Station a 20min walk, Altstadt Station (with access to the Alpenzoo and Top of Innsbruck) a 10min walk away, and Innsbruck Airport 20-30mins by public transport. The old town is just across the street, and everything is so easy to get to. Lovely spot, lovely short stay, thanks Basic Hotel Innsbruck, for making our visit so easy and comfortable 🙂
