PLEASE NOTE:
The road in front of our property, US 31 is undergoing repairs from 4.01.06 to 11.1.06. Only West bound traffic will be allowed, easy detour for guests traveling from the East.There will be delays and noise, they are required to keep our drive open at all times. So if you heading towards a Traverse City location there will be a detour to the East first. Just want all guests to be aware of the situation.

This amazing house was conceived with vacation travelers in mind. Yes we are pet friendly! This house is a Duplex, but every thing is separate except for the dock at the lake that is shared, and I might add is very soundproof! You’ll love this gem of a place because of location. We are close to numerous activities & great restaurants. Our vacation home is located on 16 acre private Lake, right off of US 31, just 1/2 mile from the traffic light in Interlochen.

This special property features 2 separate units that are not connected internally aka a Duplex . Here are a few things people love about The Perfect Getaway
#1 Location, 5 minutes to the World renowned Interlochen Arts Academy, 20 minutes to Traverse City, 26 miles to the Sleeping Bears Dunes National Park, 17 miles to Crystal Mountain, 3 miles to the Blue Bridge Events Centre, 1/2 mile to Interlochen Golf course, 30 miles to The Homestead. Also our vacation home is located on 16 acre private Lake, right off of US 31, just 1/2 mile from the traffic light in Interlochen.

#2 Our house is newly remodeled, the unit is air conditioned for those warm summer days, great effort has went into sound proofing one side from the other, this is what a recent guest had to say (The way the duplex is set up your privacy is not compromised at all. In fact I would of never known we had a neighbor unless I saw their car. We did not hear a peep. Gaea)

#3 The yard, patio & lake are awesome since it allows you to enjoy the best days of summer outside and grill to your heart's delight with the grill and boat found there!

Here are 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER before renting.
#1 No parties are permitted in our house or property at all times during your stay.

#2 Our house is nice but its not perfect for all people, even though we have put lots of effort into this place there are always small what seem like trivial issues to most that really upset others such as, this is a Duplex, there is not a bathtub we have a stand up shower. There is a step up to get into the house. home is located right off of US 31, Etc

#3 We ask all our guests to respect the neighbors and to not be loud or yell or play loud music inside and outside the building at all times during their stay. We expect our Guests to be quiet after 11:00PM. So if you intend to behave like a party animal, our place is not for you but if you intend to behave like a resident, you should love your stay.

The Perfect Getaway is located in Interlochen, the center point of activities in the Traverse region.

This unit features a kitchen that is fully stocked with all the essentials such as pots, pans coffee maker.toaster, blender slow cooker. plus your basic kitchen items to cook a nice meal. 
This is a 1 bedroom unit with a queen size bed the living room has a queen size sleeper sofa & all the linens you will need. 50” Smart TV, Netflix, also has ultra fast 5G WIFI . 
The bathroom has a stand up shower, hair dryer, iron & board and a washer & dryer so that you can take care of your laundry needs. 
This unit has a beautiful private deck & overlooks the lake and also has a patio table & chairs & outside grill so that you can truly enjoy those long summer days.

Reviews
There is a large private lake and dock behind the house, and a rowboat is provided for guests to explore the water. Out back there is also a grill and private deck. Inside there was plenty of room for the four of us. Jeff leaves a list of contact info during check-in, as well as directions and phone numbers for nearby attractions (pizza delivery, golf, arts, breakfast) and a helpful list of reminders.

House was super clean! This was the perfect setup for us to experience our first cherry festival as well as sleeping bear dunes.

Beautiful, clean home that had everything we would ever need for our stay. So convenient to Interlochen and Traverse City

We loved our stay! It was a perfect location to visit Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. The house was stocked with everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean.

We stayed here while traveling to Traverse City for an event. We loved that it is close to Traverse City but has a nice secluded feel. Located on a small lake, our Labradors had a chance to do some swimming. Very clean, wi-fi, all amenities needed are provided.
