“We loved our stay here. The picture window looking over the water was beautiful. The cabin was wonderfully simple and yet held all we needed. I had tried to book it for 4 nights but it was only available for 2 when we were there. I would have gladly booked it for all 4 and if we ever return to Skye we will definitely look ahead of time to book all our nights here again. Loved its eco friendliness as well! ”

“Stayed in the cabins. They were amazing! Full kitchen and little dining area and couch with a coffee table. Very nice bathroom with large shower and extremely comfortable bed! Best night sleep I had on my trip! Also the restaurant there is really fabulous! And it’s just a quick 10 minute walk to the grocery store and cute shops! Great location and will definitely stay there again. :)”

“Good communication from the owner before we arrived. Property was an old cottage, but quaint and clean and had everything we needed except milk or sugar. The washer and dryer was a bonus. ”

“We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!……

“Large spacious and cosy house. Wonderful scenery around the village, the gateway to the Isle of Skye 20 minutes away, and what feels like the only chocolaterie in the whole of Scotland within walking distance. Of course, as almost everywhere in the Highlands, you should have a car with you, as public transport is not as frequent as you might be used to in cities.”

“Das Haus ist zauberhaft und durchdacht. Das EG großzügig und Licht durchflutet mit riesiger Küche. Oben 2 Zimmer mit Dachschrägen. Das Zimmer mit dem großen Bett hat ein gefangenes Duschbad mit niedriger (180cm) , schmaler, angeschrägter Zugangstür. Als 2m-Meter-Mann kommt die Duschhöhe ans Limit. Ergänzend ein weiteres Bad mit Badewanne. Die direkte Lage am Loch phantastisch ( nur getrennt durch eine Straße, direkt gg. der Isle of Skye) und das Dorf sehr schön. Ca. 30 Minuten zu relevanten……

“Saraig is a hidden gem, in a lovely quiet part of the Highlands. The loch views are beyond description. Highly recommend a loch swim if you’re feeling brave (and have a wetsuit!). The house itself is full of character and with every possible home comfort. Plenty of places to visit nearby, easy to get to local amenities, restaurants etc. Top tip: if you can afford to buy a trail camera (around £50), you will capture some amazing footage of the pine martens and badgers in the garden at night!……

“Nice big house for a very comfortable stay. Plenty of rooms and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen as well. Views around the property are very scenic and help one immensely to unwind. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and a great experience. We will surely prefer this property again in future and recommend it anyone with a large enough group.”

The traditional Scottish fare is abundant and appealing, with seamless accomodations for diets. The large gathering spaces were perfect for our group of fourteen; and the charming bedrooms were welcome getaways. Room to sprawl, and to come together.”

“This is the 4th time we have stayed at Tigh-na-Camus. It is in a beautiful location and an excellent place to get away from it all and relax. The cottage is very comfortable and has the best sunroom on the front overlooking the water. Will definitely book again.”

“The location is very good, very east to find, it is a very peaceful area, it also has the sea view from my room, parking can park next to the supermarket. However the room is very small, but it should be very small in the overall highland area, just depends how much you pay. Thanks!”
