It was a lovely property with a nice view of Loch Ness. The owners were great - breakfast was really nice. They are out a ways from town and you have to drive a single-trac road to get there - so be prepared for that. Also, if you plan on having dinner there - let them know in advance as there aren’t many other options nearby.

The view from our room was beautiful, we enjoyed the wildlife from the window in our room and the owners were fantastic! Our breakfast was delicious and they were beyond helpful with our directions as we left.

Faboulous Stay with the most wonderful hosts

Elly and Chris were fabulous hosts. The home is beautiful and comfortable, room was warm with a great hot shower. We had dinner at the property, one of the best meals weve had on our trip so far. This was by far our favorite stay out of 5 different accommodations on our trip so far. Just absolutely wonderful!

A fabulous place to stay, quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere inside and outside of the house is like out of a fairytale where nature and wildlife are in harmony with the house. During our stay we've seen deers in the garden and some very friendly cockerels. The lake is at a short walking distance away. Sadly we only stayed one night, but we'll happily return.

There are not enough words to describe how much we loved our stay here. Chris & Elly are fantastic owners and cant do enough for their guests, food and rooms are excellent and the location, well its beyond words. We loved seeing the red squirrels and the visit from the badger. Although off the beaten track it is definitely worth the drive as the scenery is stunning, If we get a chance we will be back - for a week next time! Thank you so much for being a major highlight of our road trip.

I have been fortunate to travel much of the world. I have stayed at substandard hotels, 5 star hotels, and many more in between. Without exaggeration, Flyers Bay Country house is by far the best place I’ve ever stayed. The property itself is gorgeous. It has the feel of 1950s-60s country lodge but on the inside is fully modernized. The views of Loch Ness from the bedrooms is BREATHTAKING. Every night my wife and I would watch the sunset over the gorgeous water. And as a pleasant bonus, the Loch is only about 10 minutes walk from the house. The other best part of this location is the peace and quiet. We spent much time appreciating the tranquil sounds of nature from the balcony attached to our room. The owners, Chris and Ellen, are delightful and professional. Overall it was a complete joy to stay there. If I could rate it 6/5 stars, I would.

I found the write up on your site to be somewhat misleading as to location and did not tell us that they don't serve dinner on the weekends, You need to research The actual locations and the state of the access roads leading to the hotel .Bed was comfortable and breakfast adequite

The owners were very welcoming. We stayed at a number of different hotels and country houses on our tour, and this was our favorite. We wished we'd started there longer. We had a whiskey tasting, delicious dinner, and lovely breakfast. We watched wildlife from the balcony and enjoyed beautiful views of Loch Ness. Foyers Falls is a great place to explore. And we went down to the beach on the loch and enjoyed the impressive views to the north and the south. Wonderful Scottish hospitality.

Chris was an amazing host. Great sense of humor, and very welcoming. I loved the mature trees and hike right off the property. The local animals were also a major plus! They even offer vegan sausage, butter, and blood pudding - I can vouch for the first two but wasn't brave enough to try vegan blood pudding! The moment we drove up, I was disappointed we were only staying one night. I would LOVE to visit again in the future!

A lovely place to stay

We had a lovely two days at Foyers Bay Country House. Chris and Elly are amazing hosts who really care about providing their guests with an excellent experience. The location is quiet and beautiful with lots to see in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are lovely with plenty of amenities and outstanding views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and had we known how beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet, we would have booked it for longer. The owners were so personable and kind, we felt so welcomed and “at home”! We had dinner and breakfast the next morning and the food was spectacular, on all accounts! This is an out of the way gem. You will not find a better place to sort yourself out. The walk to the falls is gorgeous and only 20 mins. The views are breathtaking and welcoming staff will see me coming again and staying longer. Truly a gem along Loch Ness.
