"The house was great, felt very secluded yet we were still in town. The 1st morning we were there we were greeted by 13 deer roaming the property. The 2nd morning we woke to a doe and 2 fawns bedded down within 20 feet of the house. We cant wait to return in warmer weather to make more use of the outside amentities."

"It is a comfy cabin right on the lake. Beautiful scenery, great walking trails around the lake, and so peaceful! We enjoyed the kayaks and just sitting around taking in the peace and quiet. Nice location. The cabin has all the amenities you could want. Large screen tv was very nice watching late night movies. Recommend eating at B&C Kitchen in Hampton. We will stay here again next year, can't wait to go back! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"Wow!! We all LOVED staying at this beautiful log home!!! We wanted to unplug from reality… this was the perfect place to rest, relax, restore! So peaceful!! Amazing sunsets! Our son did some golfing and a little fishing. We really enjoyed the hot tub morning and evening!! The host was wonderful! Very prompt with replies etc. We hope to stay again!! "The house was clean, comfortable and easy to host family. We came up for a wedding and celebrated a birthday at the house. There was plenty of room and the host was very welcoming. "My husband and I stayed at Bertie’s place for the second time and were reminded again of what a great stay this is for us. The house is so well-stocked, so clean, so comfortable, and it makes for a relaxing retreat. With the weather nicer this trip, we did get to sit on the deck and go by the water. We would recommend this stay, and we hope to be back!!"
