Very nice cabin and location
We were very happy with our stay at the Nordic Haus. Check in and out was very easy. It’s nice to have a hot tub to soak in and gives the kids something to do at night because skiing closes by 4pm. The only thing was it says it’s 6 bedroom but it’s only 5 bedroom and then has two beds in the loft. The loft is basically part of the living room so we couldn’t have anyone sleep in those beds or they would be kept awake at night by the noise and then woke up early with any early risers making coffee and breakfast. But we would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Fantastic Family Vacation
This was our 2nd stay at Nordic Haus. We absolutely love it. Is very well equipped in kitchen, bathrooms, extra blankets & pillows. Always very clean. We all use the hot tub at night. Our kids think it’s the best thing for the 15 mins. we allow them to be in there. We already booked for next year & can’t wait. Just hope there’s more snow next time. Thank you so much for a lovely vacation stay.

We had a great stay
Overall we had a great stay! The good: Hot tub was awesome, clean and was great to sit in after a long day of skiing. The beds were reasonably comfortable/clean. Each room had a thermostat which was great. The house was big which was nice for togetherness and alone time as needed. The house is right next to Ski Brule at a much more reasonable rate than their offered lodging. The "bad": as mentioned in previous reviews the furniture is pretty beat up but honestly not that bad. The carpet was really stained (which made me a little nervous about overall cleanliness), the sauna door doesn't seal so wasn't really worth turning on, some of the non stick kitchen pans were scratched so bad I felt uncomfortable cooking on them. We did have a great stay though and with a little extra planning on our part we would absolutely stay again. The hosts are nice and so is the caretaker. The view from all the windows was absolutely lovely and it was very quiet. I would absolutely recommend to any group of folks traveling to Ski Brule.

Plenty of room, beds were ok, and furniture is sub par
We had a smaller group and had some friends come over for dinners from another cottage. We made the second level our gathering area. As you can read in some other reviews - the furniture on the second level is terrible. The three couches all are very uncomfortable, and so is the easy chair. we actually brought in a few lawnchairs from my van to use, and we brought up the wooden benches from the lower level kitchen instead of sitting on the couches. I usually don't like to leave negative reviews, and I understand the cottages here get used and abused.....maybe this review will motivate the owners to take the couches to the curb.

Lovely place!
The size and arrangement of sleeping was great. All of the beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. The second floor furniture is, to say the least, worn but more like broken down. The couches and chair were nearly unusable. Regardless we have booked for next year and look forward to returning.
