Perfect Location and Accommodations

This is our second time staying in Jobos and booking with Arnaldo. We've had a great experience both times and will definitely book again. We love the location and convenience of the condo, it's very clean and spacious and we appreciate the security and friendly staff at the complex. We did experience one issue on this trip, but Arnaldo was extremely responsive even on Christmas eve. Highly recommend!

Great space for family!

We visited Puerto Rico for Spring Break with our two teenage kids. The apartment had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which was perfect for our group, we enjoyed the top level deck and spent a lot of time up there. We also enjoyed the pool and being able to walk to the ocean. Our only note is that it’s a very secure property and you have to check in and out with security guards when entering. We would have liked to have been a bit closer to the restaurants on Jobo’s Beach as it’s not reasonable to walk along the road. But if you are looking for a beautiful secluded very safe spot, this is a great place!

Great stay

The property had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Isabela. It was a great location to access many different activities. The property is well kept and safe. Our family of give was happy woth thevspace and amenities. The kids enjoyed the pool, hammocks, and pool table. The adults enjoyed the amenities as well including a well stocked kitchen and balconies to relax. Very clean and well mantained.

Lovely stay

The property was very nice and clean, well appointed and comfortable. A couple of extra pillows and blankets would have been nice. The grounds were beautiful and very well cared for. I would have loved to enjoy some morning coffee in one of the loungers by the pool, but with the strict “no beverages” rule, this was not allowed. This was the only truly disappointing part of our stay.

Overall the location and facility was nice. Was very u happy about the fact we had no power to any of the outlets in the upstairs a bedroom. Notified property manager immediately on Saturday, but was told the maintenance man could not come until Monday, which was the day before. This caused an inconvenience because we had to plug everything into the bathroom outlet. On Monday they could not figure out the problem so they brought us an extension cord. Also the ants were so bad in the bathroom upstairs that they got into all of our items, everything was covered in ants. Property manager apologized for this and advised they have been spraying for the problem.

The apartment is spacious and conveniently near everything you would to see in and near Isabela and very well kept. The host is very responsive and responsible. Having a laundry room in the apartment is also an excellent bonus. My family would definitely reserve this again.

Great Location!

Love the location. Gated, pool, and beach front. Apartment had washer and dryer and was clean. Water pressure and temperature was not the best. Over all we were satisfied with the stay.

Nice place, great time!

For the location and space, we enjoyed our stay there. The apartment does need a little work, but overall not bad at all. The shower heads need to be replaced, and there was some minor celing damage in the living room ceiling. Aside from that, awesome place! Thanks for a great stay!

Rental Needs a Little Upgrade

Overall, I will give this rental a 3 star from 5 Stars, rental needs a bit of maintenance, the ceiling in the living room area is falling apart, the showers do not work correctly, can't turn on the hot water. Found some insects in the apartment the first night. Host should provide more pillows in the bedrooms. No umbrella or beach chairs offered even though rental is located on the beach. Just small details that the Host should look into. Overall, I would not stay again if I ever visit Isabela in the future.

Great location no necessities

I like this location. But the penthouse was dated and lacked the necessary items needed for a beach house location. There were no umbrellas, no beach chairs, no coolers in the properties located right on the beach. Other items missing were washcloths no extra sheets or pillows and not enough enough towels. It was actually disappointing because the place has potential. There was only one TV in the living room. No TV in the master bedroom or nowhere in the house even in the game room. A property that big should have more TVs especially when you are expecting six or more guests. Probably won’t be visiting again.

when we arrived the first day at the property the ac was not turned on and the smell of locked house was strong. AC's were turned on immediately but didn't work properly, especially the one on the second floor. the door to the room on the second floor did not close properly. the second floor balcony had no light and the glass door was also damaged. The flow of water on the second floor is not the best and the cleanliness of that bathroom was average.

Bittersweet

Overall the area is perfect for visiting Isabela’s attractions. It is safe and it is accesible. Parking space was good right in front of the building. Restaurants nearby are very good and there are a lot of options. The property itself is very spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness though was not a strong suit of this property. This property is smoke-free but there was a joint in the balcony and upper terrace. The trash was not taken out before our arrival and it was smelly and putrid. The white sofa in the living room is all scrapped and is peeling off. You’ll leave the sofa with white specks all over your clothes and body. The owner was very attentive and very active in correcting the issue of the trash and cleanliness. I got to give him that. He called immediately his cleaning crew and they communicated very fast and apologized. Everything else was fine, but these details, specially when you get in first thing is kind of bittersweet.

great property - few things fell short

Just returned from a 10 day holiday trip with a group of 8 people. We had a great time, the house is located in a private gated and secured complex near the main drag of Jobos beach and very close to the restaurants/bars. The ocean in front of the complex is pretty rough, I don't recommend anyone swimming there. I suggest you go to the beach in Jobos near the restaurant/bars. In general the property is pretty well maintained and is as described, however, as a property owner myself I have to take note and inform others of the following items that felt short for me. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and NO elevator! For a house that accommodates 10 people there aren't enough towels, basically 1 ratty bath towel per person that have seen much better days. No hand towels were provided at all. Not enough plates, cups, mugs or drinking glasses . The most they have is 5 mugs and no glasses at all. They provide 2 small coffee makers which are pretty old and grainy.. One major flaw. NO toaster! Beware, the kitchen has lots of ants, can't leave anything unopened, this includes any breads or fruit on the kitchen counter, they come from all directions.. Also No dishwasher! the kitchen cabinets are showing somewhat of wear and tear!. On the plus side the front loading washer/dryer are spanking new. The white sofa has seen better days, the white skin is peeling off and its not the most comfortable of sofas. The mattress on the downstairs bedrooms are all covered in plastic making hard to sleep in. My suggestion invest in mattress covers instead. The house has AC throughout the house and in every room, but the bedroom AC's are very loud! In one of the downstairs bedrooms, owners decided to drill cardboard around the frame of the AC unit but it doesn't fit quite well allowing mosquitoes to come in and have a field day on our bodies in the middle of the night every night!! The pool is good but NO lounge chairs! so if you want to go to the pool you're sitting on hard concrete.. Only 2 beach towels are provided. Overall its a great house, I will recommend for a short stay. It would be even nicer if the owners/manager would just fix the items mentioned above..

Great location and relaxing environment!

Overall it was a nice condo near the beach and the community is friendly and secured. But only issue I have was the unit I stayed at was poorly maintained. Also it was too expensive for the type of place when I found other places that was way cheaper after the fact. Hope the owner takes the time to look over his lights and decor and make improvements to their unit.
