「This was a fabulous place to stay. We had a partial ocean view room, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The air conditioning was very good, and the hotel had bright, modern design with incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. Cafe overlooking the bay was also nice.」

「Lost our key partying about in Bocas town, came back to the hotel at 3am and the owner (great guy) let us back in!! Our savior and the accommodations (AC in particular) were very nice. Would 100% stay here again.」

「Eclypse del Mar is a uniquely, beautiful location. We stayed both in the overwater bungalows and the treehouse so we were able to enjoy the ocean and forest views. We were thrilled to be able to feed the fish through the opening in the living room floor of the bungalow. The staff is so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Rashi, JJ and Francesca made us feel right at home. We had some of the best animal sightings at the reserve, including a mother sloth, travelling the treetops with its twins...

「This place was perfect. I walked into town and beach every day. They have a fully functional outdoor community kitchen which is perfect for families. A family cooked there every day and I made smoothies. It was very clean and staff was extremely nice and helpful. Will be back.」

「The location was excellent and the restaurant was really great. However the highlight of this hotel was the staff. While you don’t typically go to Bocas for “amenities” the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly- especially Janelli. She not only greeted us every time she saw us with a warm and genuine smile, she was crucial in helping us plan our days, made phone calls, walked us places and translated for us. She is truly a gem to this hotel.」

「Avoid this hotel if you can! Staff was not friendly at all. Send them a message two and a half weeks before my stay and never received an answer. Rooms are very basic. Shower was clogged.」
