"We had a great stay at Mapache. The private room was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. We also loved the daily activities and the small breakfast included was a bonus. Would recommend Mapache to anyone staying on Holbox. I've only just found out the Mapache means racoon though! "

"Descuidado, falta manutenção. Porta do banheiro emperrada, móveis velhos, lençóis velhos. Falta cuidado. Café da manhã com frutas, torrada e ovos ou yogurte bom. A foto parece ser um lugar amplo, claro e limpo mas não é."

"Aldea Kuka was one of the highlights of our trip to Holbox. The beachfront location is stunning, with beautiful ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax. The room was clean, comfortable, and full of charming eco-boutique details. The staff was warm and attentive throughout our stay, and the included breakfast was fresh and delicious. If you’re looking for a quiet, stylish escape with direct beach access, I highly recommend Aldea Kuka. I would definitely stay here again!"
"¡Una experiencia maravillosa! Si buscan un hotel 100% familiar, este es el lugar indicado. El ambiente es súper seguro y tranquilo, perfecto para disfrutar con los niños sin preocupaciones. La playa que está justo frente al beach club es simplemente hermosa. Nos encantó empezar los días con su desayuno continental que es súper completo, y después aprovechar la renta de bicis para pasear. Para cerrar con broche de oro, el spa es un servicio que vale muchísimo la pena para relajarse. ¡Definitivamente volveremos!"
"We had a wonderful stay at Delek Holbox. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. The beach and beach bar were beautiful and perfect for relaxing, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and very nice. We would happily stay here again"
"La Casa de las Tortugas is a beautiful, magical place. Its coastal architecture accentuated by wood, washed walls, sand & plants is fabulous. The bedrooms follow this same style conveying peace & relaxation. Their pool, center of the rooms, is crystal clear & relaxing ,situated right in front of the of their spa. This space offers multiple activities- yoga, sound meditations, solstice rituals. All lead by beautiful Coral who is kind, loving & positive.
The restaurants are highly defined by all the staff wanting to provide the best service. They go above & beyond just like the waiter from the sushi restaurant willing to go up & down from one restaurant to another to accommodate your palate. The beach area is FANTASTIC ! It’s decorated with a beautiful bohemian vibe & you have your choice of beach beds, hammocks or cushioned sofas. The beach is always clean & the jaded water is mesmerizing ( plus the ladies who sell the fresh mangoes outside add another local flavor! ) The location of the hotel is perfect. You are just a few blocks away from everything! Their restaurant Luma is a must! Their boards & appetizers such as shrimp chicharrón are scrumptious & don’t pass on the chocolate tart with the chile froth cream! It’s to die for! All crowned by the magnificent service of their hostess & Mica!
I hope I can return soon & without a doubt, La Casa de las Tortugas will be my number one choice ! ( plus they are advocates to preserve the islands vibe)"
"Hotel was amazing if you’re looking for a vacation away from the world. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Island is very secluded. The restaurants right outside the hotel were delectable. Staff and locals were very nice. Not much attractions around besides the beautiful beach.
Only issues that occurred during my stay: Day 1, lights went out but they were able to get them back on with 20 minutes. The next day, there was no hot water to shower to I embraced the cold water that night which was not as bad since the weather is very hot.
I recommend regardless. Also I HIGHLY advise buying some mosquito gel at the corner store because they’re crazy during the night."
"Very good value for money. Well located, not too far from DT but you feel you are isolated! Very good place for a relaxing stay. The personnel very good too!"
