"Awesome location, directly across the street from the beach. No AC in main part of house. AC ran great in all bedrooms. Hot tub was not operational, and there was not toilet seat on one of the toilets. Manager said owner was shipping one from US, but never arrived. No daily housekeeping, refrigerator did not get or stay cold. And taxis we arranged for pick up to leave, never arrived. We were allotted one towel per person, and had to ask to get them changed out. For girls that use towels...

"The beach was waiting for us just a small few steps away and it was perfect. Picturesque, idyllic, pure relaxation and beautiful. The staff was top notch, Edel and Erick both were more than impressive with their constant attention to detail and represented the Hotel in the best way. We had a small issue that was handled professionally and left my traveling group more than happy. I don't post reviews often, but the staff made our experience so good I have to recommend them and AWA as as strong choice for your place to stay in Holbox. I would definitely go back."

"El hotel está muy bien decorado, es cómodo y tiene todo (piscina, gimnasio, business center, club de playa, etc. Las camas son nuevas, buenas sábanas y toallas. Buenos amenities. La habitación tiene todo! A pocas cuadras del centro en un lugar seguro para caminar. Tiene un restaurante propio que funciona como club de playa y de noche dan cena-show."

"The gardens were lush and the beachfront palapas were nice. The beach was amazing. The spiral stairs to the unit were tricky and narrow. Some staff were very friendly while younger bar staff seemed bothered by requests. The internet strength was very inconsistent. The breakfast was just okay. The Americano coffee was poor. I was glad I did not get the all-inclusive food option. Tiny plastic cups for your drinks. I wasn’t able to use either pool as there were never any empty chairs as there only a few there. It was decent enough for the significantly reduced rate. Communication was difficult at times due to language issues."

"Les piscines sont mal entretenues, l eau est brouille, la piscine du rooftop est un peu mieux . Bien que l emplacement soit magnifique de même que l hôtel en soit, les prix sont dérisoires. Un verre de vin 26$ canadien ( pas la bouteille , le verre), le déjeuner inclus est continental donc sans œufs, il comprends fruits , un mini contenant de yougourt et une tranche de pain avec confiture. BON À SAVOIR; lisez les petits caractères.. vous êtes gentiment accueillis par une taxe ( taxe de l îles ) qui correspond à environ 350$ par chambre pour un séjour d une semaine ( non compris dans le prix d expédia ).. donc magnifique hôtel et endroit .. mais prix dérisoires .. et assez loin de l épicerie à pied ..( donc taxi requis $$ ou vélo $)"

"The hotel is right on the beach which is lovely, with beautiful birds and trees all around. The staff was extremely nice and helpful too, and the hotel is in a good quiet location but still an easy walk to the center of town and activities. The amenities could have been a little more luxurious--the instant coffee in the room, for example, could be improved. The food in the hotel restaurant was atrocious, unfortunately, so plan to eat elsewhere."

"Overall, our experience was good but not great. The staff were a bit rude and the service at the beach club lacked customer service. When we checked in, the bathroom window was open and the screen was broken so mosquitoes were coming on. On top of that, they were doing some kind of maintenance or something and the smell of spray paint was coming into the room."
