“We have visited the island several times, but this was our first stay at The Mint, and we already can’t wait to come back. We spent six days there and honestly wished we had booked a longer stay.
The customer service was exceptional, the views were stunning, and the location couldn’t have been better. Everything was within walking distance to some of the island’s best beaches and restaurants.
Also, don’t miss the massages while you’re there. The two women who provide them are incredible, and……

“This is a basic hotel. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is nice. The pool is small with only four lounge chairs. You will need to walk to get to the beach - this hotel has a dock only. ”

“Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed.
The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart……
