We chose this property because we have a large family. There were 9 adults and 5 kids. The design of the house is interesting and suited us all quite well. Would I stay here again? Probably not. The check in process was frustrating. We got keys from a lock box which is fine but we arrived to a completely dark and sweltering house. They knew we were coming but didn't so much as leave a fan or a light on. We couldn't find one of the bedrooms. When we did, the door was locked of course because they are accessible from the outside. We finally found keys in a basket on the kitchen table which would have been nice to know about. We spent far too long trying to find the rooms, keys, cool down the house, etc. No one there to greet us and feel welcome. The shower heads could use updating or cleaning as they are covered in calcium buildup. The master bath with the jet tub went unused because the water came out so slow it took 30 min to get 2 inches of water in there. A waste. The view was spectacular, the location was perfect., the pool was used a lot by the kids and they loved it. One or two umbrellas on the deck would have been nice as there was a lot of sun coverage. The grocery store was very close which was great because we cooked a lot. The available kitchenware was adequate but we could not get the oven to work. Stove worked fine. The housekeeper, Irma, was lovely. She stopped by the day after we arrived and introduced herself. She cleaned once while we were there but it would have been nice to have 2 cleanings. The property manager, Drew, was on vacation so Alfredo stopped by the day after we arrived and checked on us. Our TV was not working which was a very big deal to the sports fans (Soccer finals). The TV and a fan we could not get to work were fixed on Monday. The Wifi was spotty. Sometimes it was off but then came back. Beds were very nice. The people staying in the two downstairs Q bed rooms were getting bug bites. My bro-in law who is in pest control identified bed bugs. We alerted the management who said there are no bed bugs in Mexico. While that may be true something got them in bed every night and they killed a few of them. I trust they will look at it and take action if necessary. We had no security issues and kept our doors locked everywhere. The safes didn't work but we didn't have any thefts. I felt safe here and loved all the places within walking distance. A golf cart is a must though! All in all it was a decent place to stay.
