The hotel is quite nice. All of the rooms have a view of the water, though rooms at the ends of halls definitely can see more of it. The room I had was quite spacious and quite comfortable. Would’ve liked a desk or a small table though. Some rooms do have these… the bathroom is quite large with dual sinks and a very large walk-in shower. The toilet is in its own cubicle within the bathroom. The air conditioning was very efficient and the room came weight a ceiling fan.. after a few nights of too cold or too warm, I managed to get the room comfortable with the air conditioning set to 23 and the ceiling fan on. The balconies are quite large and offer a couch/lounger with padded cushions and a small table with two chairs. The main pool is quite nice with many lounge chairs - some in the water and some on the deck - make for a lovely way to spend the day. There is also a poolside bar but drink delis er service is very slow. The bar onsite was very hot inside every time I visited it. A spotty TV signal made watching the Olympics a bit frustrating. With long pauses of no signal and the tvs all frozen. The restaurant at the hotel is not very good. Quite bland would be the nicest thing I can say about it. The restaurant at the hotel next door is slightly better.. and if you are willing to walk about four minutes there is a very good little restaurant down the street on the opposite side and maybe 150 metres away. My wife and I at had three dinners there. The fajitas were very good!

We had a great stay at Isla Beach Front Hotel. The staff really made the experience. They were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The location was perfect for us. It’s in a quiet, peaceful part of the island, but still just a short golf cart ride to Centro, so you get the best of both world with relaxation and easy access to restaurants and shops. The property was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The only minor note is that the pools are not heated, but they are kept very clean. Adding a hot tub by the pool would make this place absolutely perfect. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly but the quality of the food was terrible. We only ate there one time. The one and only ice machine was broken and there is no refrigerator in your room. The pools were nice but freezing cold. There was a nice beach although the lounge chairs were broken and need to be replaced. The hotel needs to focus on the details that make your stay more enjoyable. For instance, not having to ask for clean towels everyday.Our biggest complaint

Room was perfect. Staff very friendly but language barrier was difficult. Huge huge turnover of staff which was alarming. The ALL Inclusive package we purchased was very misleading and items that were to be included were not. Restaurant clean and lovely but the menu NEEDS to rotate items. Very very certain our vodka (sky) was substituted for the cheaper house vodka. It is a clear taste difference. When I'd asked to taste the two varies in a taste test.... bar tender didn't deny and let me upgrade to what we rightfully paid for. Also, all inclusive was not as delivered for menu items too. Felt very nickle-and-dimed if we wanted to have something different then on the "list of inclusions/menus'. very cheap appeal. If we would have known from the beginning we would have just paid the extra regardless beforehand. maybe Tier the all inclusive idea. Basic all inclusive privillage all inclusive with top shelf on all....
Welcome brochure - hours of places vary. Dining room is really only the Cafe' in that the other place is more of a sports hangout.

The staff was wonderful. We especially appreciated Martin one of the wonderful servers. We did all inclusive and it was worth it if not spectacular. Some things were very good while others were not as appealing. There are few activities at least while we were there. It was clean and lovely and much less crowded than the north end of the Island.

Fav things were room and hotel cleanliness. Room was spacious with a great bathroom and outdoor patio (ground level). Staff are friendly and efficient. There’s a gym with usual gym equipment in good condition. Restaurant had a good breakfast buffet. Lots of lounge chairs around pool and on beach. Taxis always available out front as well as local bus.
