“We had a great stay! The team is amazing, the food was delicious, and the view from the room was incredible. The hotel location was close to the beach and nearby restaurants. Be prepared for steps though as it's a bit of a walk up to the rooms.”

“This lovely hotel, in the tiny, unpretentious village of Drake Bay, was wonderful. I am an amateur wildlife photographer. The manager gave me Room 1, with an enormous window that looks out onto a guarumo tree. In this tree arrived, in turn, a toucan, a pair of aracaris, tanagers, tityrus, caracaras, golden-naped woodpeckers, multiple iguanas, hummingbirds - it was simply incredible. I took the best pictures I've ever taken. The pool and the bar are nice, and everyone is friendly. Just one……

“What a wonderful vacation! I stayed in early February 2026 on a mother-son getaway. We stayed in one of the spa suites and enjoyed the animals and the birds in the tree off our deck. I just can’t say enough great things about this place: the views (incredible sunsets), the food, Happy Hour cocktails, the pool, the friendly and attentive staff (shout out to Francisco, José, Roxy and Noelia). Be sure to rent a car and explore the area. And take advantage of the excursions that the hotel can book……

“We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the lodge buildings are very sympathetically designed, and blend well with the surroundings. Everywhere is very clean and maintained to a high standard. We loved sitting on the bar stools and watching the monkeys and morpho butterflies. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful, and assisted us with booking excursions. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, as were the cocktails! “Vista drake lodge is amazing. We stayed for 4 nights. We even got an upgrade to one of the lodges! The views from there are amazing overlooking drake bay and you just want to chill on the porch in your personal hammock forever. The lodgings are in the center of town and everything can be reached by foot. Emmanuel also hosts a lot of tours, gives great advice and we got a special breakfast on the day we left which was super nice! We did some diving on cano island (highly recommended) and went……
