Sunset Hideaway - In Kingscote

"We had a lovely time on Kangaroo Island and staying at Sunset Hideaway made it so relaxing. Plenty of space for our family of 5 and everything we needed was there as promised. A great location in Kingscote also made for easy day trips in all directions around KI. A short easy drive to the supermarket that was fully stocked with everything you would need for a BBQ or a platter with a sip of local wine. The kids said the beds were so soft and comfortable."

"Be great to have a dryer since we went when it was cold and the clothes despite being left outside did not dry. Washing machine did fail too but no owners fault. Be great to have more than 4 of everything but was very neat and tidy and in good condition and as described."

"Definately pet friendly with a huge backyard for them to run around in. If your dog is a digger, just use the two logs to block the bottom of the gate. Great walking paths not far from the beach, and the beach is beautiful.The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. All bedrooms are very roomy and comfortable with large windows. The main bedroom has a Super King size bed(amazing), and a bathroom attached with shelving and hanger space in between.Bathrooms were clean and both showers are great, and the two toilets were clean as well.The large kitchen has all the utensils you would need for cooking and the large table is perfect.Two TVs, one in main lounge and another in sitting room off the kitchen. Lounge is very comfy.Backyard is huge, lots of birds, and a resident Koala.Two areas to sit, either under the verandah or under the large tree.Outside washer and dryer with a sink, cupboards and dog toys in the drawers. A clothes line and a clothes airer, too.We only needed to contact the host once, it was a very quick reply from Kevin, and Sabine came over within 20 minutes and helped us out.A great time on KI with Sabine's Place as the home base, close to Kingscote and great walking trails.Overall, we have stayed at 4 different places around KI and will be sure to rebook Sabine's Place as the house and area are awesome and the hosts are great.Thanks, again to Sabine and Kevin, for a great holiday."
